Man, I'm not the type to get grumpy about late updates, because hey it's in your spare time I'm not complaining, but honestly it's 4 am over here and that's kind of nuts for an update about something like this.

Probably would've been a better idea to put it on, say, noon, or maybe 9 pm or something. Something a bit more conservative, wherein people don't do dumb stuff like stay up all night for videogame mods like I'm doing RIGHT NOW

Please, in the future, do not lose sleep over updates! They will be readily available as you wake up on Saturday morning, as the actual time of release will always vary. Midnight PST was more of a general announce time.
I apologize to everyone who has been patiently waiting for so long- We are doing our best to work hard on our own hours for you guys! We do not get paid for anything, so naturally, things will always be very flimsy when it comes to specific times.

Once again, I hope you can forgive us for the short delay! We'll have the update to you guys as they are readily available.

ok...I might be slightly interested in ivysaur now. deku nut down b, solar beam, and half a moveset that heals you. sounds really diverse from most stuff so far.

I hope the healing attacks aren't too safe.
The only reason Ness/Lucas and their healing orb thing aren't blatantly OP is because they're reactionary and only work against certain attack types.

Healing just for doing your job and wailing on people could be tricky to balance right.

What was the reasoning behind adding so many healing moves to ivysaur?

I remember there being alot of discussion about healing moves a few years back in this thread and I think the conclusion that we reached was that it just extends the length of games without adding any depth.

Backroom thoughts?

If I were to guess, just a horrible recovery in general. Even if we can't necessarily edgehog up b, there's nothing stopping you from putting a hit box between ivy and the edge. Three falco dairs later will convince anyone it's a bad idea. That is...unless solar can push us to the edge ala mewtwo style o.o
