Toaster I actually forget how close you are to me but once I can get my license I'm fairly certain I'm within acceptable driving distance of you and Monk. Whenever you have a smashfest or get together I might actually be able to start doing things on the irl side of the community.

Plus I'll get to hear your brstms which are much better than JCaesar's forever.

So not *all* of PMBR got exposed. At least not yet.

Oh and how'd you guys like my commentary yesterday? I'll try to find a commentary partner who can bring the hype for the bracket matches later today.

Get Fro. He was freaking awesome, especially with you or chillin.

I think you did a great job commentating JC. I kinda liked when SB was with you just because you both have so much knowledge about the game. But yeah Fro was good, too.

When will P:M be on stream again? Anyone know?

I did somewhat enjoy FC livestream just alot of ike and bowser match ups people didn't use alot of good characters in P:M i couldn't stand the commentary. I hope to see more stuff like this on stream.

I agree. A lot of people say wrong things i.e. mango said that Ike can only QD wall jump once.

edit: which is fine as long as there is a PMBR member to correct them

Loved the look that JCaeser gave Fro when he said that Dreamland wasn't the correct size. Did anyone else expect so many Bowsers?

I didn't, but I like it. I still think that Bowser is one of the best examples of forgotten low tiers becoming tourney viable in P:M, so it's great exposure to have Bowser doing well at the biggest P:M tournament ever.

I think Bowser's inherent flaws will prevent him from being a good solo character, but the added strengths will make him a polarizing character that either does really well or really terribly against characters.

He's still a pretty straightforward character, so the skill barrier for succeeding with him is probably rather low.

I guess this means I should pick up a real character then...
I mean, it's just a preliminary thought. It's not like I've used Bowser extensively (in P:M, anyway). The metagame is young, and the game isn't finished yet. Who knows what'll happen? :)

I stuck with Bowser in Melee and couldn't make it work particularly well. Maybe the buffs will allow someone else to do it in Project: M.

Good thing--I finish my last class at 7:15. I'll be able to watch if nothing comes up.

Also, I'm so cool.

I didn't see match 2, but I thoroughly enjoyed watching him CP Pirate Ship. Yes it was campy and the stage probably shouldn't be legal, but I still enjoyed watching him hit the Falco into the keel of the ship with PK Thunder and entertainment is what I gauge these things on.
