EDIT: Anyway, you could get pineapple'd at... Dreamland 64... So are they characters from Kirby or, better yet, SSB64? Luigi, Samus, Ness, Kirby, Pikachu? Or Yoshi, even?

EDIT 2: Technically, wouldn't they have to include ZSS if Samus is in? That or have it set to auto-crash if someone's crafty enough to turn on Smashballs and use Samus' final smash?

EDIT 3: Or just not have her armor fall off. Guess that could work too.

Hmm... ALMOST completely wrong track, you say? SO WE'RE SOMEWHAT THERE. I'M STICKING TO DREAMLAND 64.

Dreamland 64 = Kirby/Metaknight = HAL = Sakurai = Pit = 3 characters (Pit/Kirb/Meta)

Dreamland 64 = Smash 64 = Unlockable Luigi/Ness (the unlockable characters sprung out of the center of the screen in the opening cinematic, vaguely similar to the shape of a pineapple = 2 more characters

The last five will be Kirby, Luigi, Pit, Ness, Metaknight.

Ivysaur is a plant, so he's in.

Pit's a fruit, so he's in. Also sometimes eggplant, so he's totally figured out as related to the hint.

Squirtle lives underwater, same as a certain sponge who lives in a pineapple, so he's in.

Olimar pulls plant people out of the ground, just like a farmer pulls plants out of his field. What sometimes grows on farms? Yep - pineapples. Olimar's a go.

Finally, Peach has turnips, which are kinda like white pineapples if you squint. She's in.

Our last five are Ivysaur, Pit, Squirtle, Olimar, and Peach.
