Cant wait for a chicago based pm rep. its so saturated (not) in some areas, but other areas have like a 10 hour drive to get to a rep.

I believe the way it works is originally, Link wouldn't have been able to defeat Ganon at all. He then traveled to the future, creating the second timeline. Then when he was done killing Ganon and all he went back, creating the third timeline.

So after watching more of him on stream I'm more okay with Toon Link's recovery. It's weak but I don't think its much weaker than say, Falco's. That said, I still have another suggestion for him.

Young Link and 64 Link both had a rapid jab, and Toon Link does not. Even if it's not important to his game, I think it would be a nice gesture to give that back to him.

Okay but if we do you have to tell us the release date of PM
Maybe I will. ;)

Everybody should vote/nominate me for Professor Melee on the Forum Awards.
or whatever it's called
Yeah, because you're more important than Magus. :awesome:

Oh wait.

It's a further part of their differentiation.

UpB Grounded:

:link2: Hits once, semi-spikes, strong, can't charge, can't move with it.
:toonlink: Multihit, can move on the ground, can charge, can't spike

UpB Air
:link2: Fairly decent recovery, multihit, doesn't kill
:toonlink: Bad recovery, one hit, finishing move

Bow

:link2: Sends opponent forward, no fire
:toonlink: Sends opponent up, fire effect, hurts while on ground

Usmash
:link2: Three hit, each hit leads into the next
:toonlink: Two hit, first hit doesn't lead to second

Dsmash
:link2: Sends opponent up
:toonlink: Sends opponent forward/back

Dash attack

:link2: Sends opponent up/combos
:toonlink: Sends opponent forward/gimps

Dair
:link2: It's Dair. It's good.
:toonlink: Good Dair + Firespike!

Jab
:link2: Three hit, then optional rapid jab
:toonlink: Three hit

etc.

Can you give an example of TL's aerial Up-B killing power in relation to another move? I'm not good at interpreting when you say it has __ KB, but if you say it's as strong as <some move> then I'll get it.

How about A+B for Ice arrows, they of course wouldn't actually freeze. They'd be floatier and slower than fire arrows, would have different KB/damage/angle. They wouldnt have a lingering hitbox on the ground but maybe theyd have a small hitbox just as they hit the ground and the ice on the end kind of poofs into a cloud. Would be great for mixups, especially if the elemental graphics on arrows didn't come out until B is released. It would also be a nice nod to Wind Waker as you get the fire and ice arrows together.

Why isn't HDT in the back room? Don't you know how to code? (I always see you around TAS topics and the like)

Merry Christmas everyone! I proposed to my GF today =O

I don't have any recording or streaming equipment. I don't know PSA and I only have basic Brawlbox skills. I do go to tournaments but not "frequently". Actually, anything that requires a computer is out of the question now since my laptop doesn't work anymore (and this computer is a floor below where my Wii is). As a player I'd love to be a back room member just to have access to the game (as would most of us), but I wouldn't be able to contribute anything to the project.

Congrats, btw.

That's actually just another day in the life of the PMBR. I hear sometimes they crush SD cards instead. The SD cards actually have Troll Brawl on them though, so even if you salvage them you're in for a bad day.

Merry Christmas PM Thread.
