seems... boring? like a slightly more jagged version of PS2

iunno, P:M has all the neutral, static stages it needs, I'd prefer more dynamic stuff to play with

I don't really see why stages need anything other than the visual aesthetics when it comes to things being dynamic, honestly.

b/c you end up in a position like most lenient stagelists are, where you have different stages that still has basically the same purposes, so counterpicking is pretty painless for the losing side (winner bans two/three tiny stages, whoops there's still several tiny stages left so bowser still gets free roam)

Meh. *shrugs* I have no idea how counterpicking works since I only ever play alone or with a few friends who barely touch the game and play on almost everything, so I lack the knowledge and insight to comprehend what you mean since I've never had to do it.

...Even though Norfair is just Battlefield with larger platforms that move slightly and Skyloft is just the old P:M Temple which used to be the old Brawl+ Temple?

"that move slightly" er. no, that's not exactly considered slightly

also you didn't... actually say any good reasons as to why skyloft is bad? "it was an old brawl+ stage" just tells me that brawl+ had at least one good stage, then

When did I say it was bad? I love Skyloft. It's one of my favorite stages.

I'm saying that in terms of it being incredibly dynamic...I'm not seeing it.

It was never my intention to say that either stage was bad. They're both two of my favorites.

Its the layout of the stage. The uneven terrain and platforms. Only Metal Cavern could be called remotely similar to it, and its still a very different beast in terms of gameplay.

A stage doesn't need special mechanics to be able to deviate heavily from the norm.

^That sounds pretty sick for some Breakfast. I hope there was some Steak, Eggs and Egg Nog involved with that as well.

How come Mewtwo doesn't have the same spotdodge animation that he had in Melee? That was one of the coolest animations in the whole game.

I think every character in the game hates it. It changes the positioning game and ability to touch the character in a drastic way. Any character that can throw out a low multi hit aerial will face a morph boost past them, and she can use it to just roll away from low reaching pokes on the ground.

Smash 4 is looking like it has some pretty interesting things going for it so far, imo. I'll definitely be getting it for the Wii U even if it may be an awful smash game. Smash is smash and I love the series too much to just avoid Smash 4 even if it may be really similar to brawl.

Brawl was a fun game. I mean it's a terrible competitive game, but it's still an enjoyable game nonetheless. Definitely picking up Smash 4 considering the kind of content they're including. The armor could be an assist trophy anyway.

On the other hand, Zelda just got real hot in Smash 4. She's looking like waifu right now.

Senjougahara will always be my number one waifu though
