I could've tried to come up with a more comparable example but no matter what I don't think it's going to change your opinion at all. (And I didn't say "You can either get all of the stars in SM64 or breed a team", I merely compared the two. So there is no "choosing" the platformer.)

Some people find breeding fun, some people don't. I don't find it fun trying to get 100 coins on Rainbow Ride, so why don't I just use a GameShark to get it? Because I want the satisfaction of having gotten it myself. Why doesn't everyone go construct a team in 5 seconds on Shoddy? Because some people actually want the satisfaction of building a team themselves.

This kind of mentality is why I kind of hate the concept of Shoddy.

Yeah, I SRed Lugia forever to get a 24/X/19/28/27/31 or something like that... My best Legendaries are Mewtwo/Suicune though. Both Timid, Suicune is 24/20/18/31/24/31 (good average stats( and Metwo 18/31/15/31/19/31

Oh dude, I scored bigtime XD. We're so dorky we met on an mmo (Final Fantasy XI) and now live together. I have the perfect nerd/romance story, XD.

Also, with the bracers on SS you can gradually build up 31s, so you could expand on the Weavile hardcore. I like Weavile, but he just... is meh.

Oh, and you'd be afraid to snatch her up, as we live in Alabama, lord of the hillbillies =P

^ Aww man I hate that, just too many points shy of perfection. I'm moving on to Lucario/Dnite/Heatran/Azelf now, 29/28/29/30/30/31 may be only 1 31... but it's stats are so well averaged.. usually I get 28/31/27/31/26-27/31...but it';s a pretty beastly mixmence imo.

Male passes down. Remember if you put a lv1 Dratini male with Extremespeed in daycare he'll pass it down EVEN IF HE FORGETS IT, but if you take him out of daycare and put him back, he won't.
Nature
Random, but if the female has a everstone her nature is 50%. Ditto is ALWAYS the female, even on female/ditto relations.
IVs w/ Power Items?
Give it to the male. Jolly Ditto with X/X/X/X/X/31 and male Magikarp with Power Bracer[Atk] X/31/X/X/X/ will pass down Jolly 50% of the time, and 31 Atk 100% of the tjme. The 31 speed follows the random IV caculation of being the other 2 stats passed down.

Dunno. I used a egg hatch thing on FireRed WAY back in the day next thing I know ... I can't move and when I restart it automatically says corrupt. Then I had a diamond do something similar but it fixed after a reset. Then a GCN game .. Sonic A2B glitched when I used a flying glitch XD.

I just stay away from it all, but I really need to invest in a Codebreaker/usb for data backup now... such a waste of 40 dollars >.>

Despite what propaganda Nintendo likes to put out, like how "altered files" may "negatively affect your experience", it's actually pretty hard to screw up your game with AR unless you do something stupid.

Like put on 200 codes at once or something.

I've been using AR on my SoulSilver for a looong time. I even replaced my character sprite a few times and it was all good in the hood.

Just don't use a bazillion codes at once.

I really doubt it was from trying to make a legit T-Tar. Chances are he either messed up or put in some code that would lead the game to crash.

Yep. Pokesav created Pokemon in HG/SS don't work. Pokesav them in DPPt and then trade them over.

I don't use AR to obtain Pokemon I don't have. Sure, I clone Pokemon and quick hatch eggs, but I'll trade for any other Pokemon.

nothing beats the original games but this is one that I would recommend to a new crowd. A large variety of pokemon, a fun game and competitive online. Just dont run into those trainers that use Action Replays to boost their pokemon to level 100 and max everything out lol. GOOD LUCK NEW GENERATION
