It's really odd but most of Heartgold's offers are much better. I've come to like Ho-oh more too (not competitive like, just in general) He always seems underrated, especially in the anime. Also Latias is HG and Latios is SS no? Even that option is better, well for me, because I don't care for ubers.

I had always preferred Lugia over Ho-Oh, (and thus I chose Silver), and Latios over Latias, but I might try for some change. -Ho-Oh is scared of Stealth Rock-

I **HATE** the title "HeartGold".
But I **HATE** SoulSilver's version exculsives....

I'm debating whether I should take the nostalgia route and make HG my "main" game (still don't own Silver, only Gold and Crystal) or go with SS since I like the title and exclusives better. I'm getting both, I just haven't decided which ones to go for completion and not restart.

There is a confirmed pre-order bonus for HG/SS in America now, at least for GameStop stores.

Just like the Giratina figurine from Platinum.

I'm a little disappointed, I was hoping for something a little more functional, like maybe styluses again. To this day I still use my Dialga and Palkia styluses for everything on my DS because they're larger and more comfortable to grip.

Only a little over a couple of weeks left until the U.S. release date (March 14th), so I think it's time for the discussion to come back up. Very excited for SS! This will definitely be the best Pokemon game yet.

It's kinda dissapointed to know that 5th gen is coming out "soon" but aside from that I'm still pretty stoked for these games. Heh, I would guess that Ultimario is talking about a cutscene but other than that I have no idea.

If I remember correctly (haven't played Pokemon in quite a while), Teddiursa is a Silver exclusive, and I love the little guy! Plus I got Silver version when I was little so I feel like I have some kind of responsibility to go Silver again.

Another honorable mention is that my brother is getting the HG version, so I'm really not missing out on any exclusives.

Not I, I already have a competitive Lugia so it doesn't matter but Lugia is way cooler than Ho-oh. I also had silver as a kid so I feel obligated to play it again. Plus, my silver version was stolen but I still have a gold catridge that I bought to replace it. So, if nothing else I technically already have gold while I don't have silver.
