If you could only save a game file on the slot you started it on, this would not be a problem.

I think this will be my last Pokemon game, I started with Gold version back when it cam out and I want to end it with the remake of it (Even though I am getting SS, not HG). I just like the feeling I will get if i do this.

I didn't realize they were already taking pre-orders for it, I should probably pre-order mine sometime soon.

I wish they would give pre-order bonuses again. Like, GOOD ones, not figurines. I still use the Dialga/Palkia styluses (because I pre-ordered both), because they're comfortable to hold (and not incredibly tiny and easy to lose) AND are awesome collector's items.

Also, do you know if we are getting any bonuses for pre-ordering? We didn't see any bonus to pre-ordering this...
Maybe the bonus is getting it at 35dollars with pokewalker versus a higher fee later on! l

I don't think there are any bonuses for pre-ordering. Normally, by the time you can pre-order, they tell you the bonuses. Because the whole idea of bonuses is to get you to pre-order.

If there is one, though, I don't think it's a lowered price.

Times between Japan and Us releases, and taking into the fact of Ninty wants their game to actually SELL in this economy, it'll be $40 TOPS.

Yeah, we both play it a lot (her more than me, though. I've been playing the FF7 series, on Doc ) Also, she doesn't really like Brawl and I play that too =P I met my girlfriend on Final Fantasy XI (mmorpg) so I got a good investment when she moved in ^^

Yeah I'm getting Heartgold and she is getting SoulSilver. It works out because I love HoOh (offensive fire attack for the win) not to mention I cna get a good Kyogre on this one and a good Groudon off hers (she doesn't care about Groudon, as long as I give her my decent one from ruby) So I win all the way around. Wish the exclusives mattered but I just recently got the Gold Card on platinum, so....

It's really odd but most of Heartgold's offers are much better. I've come to like Ho-oh more too (not competitive like, just in general) He always seems underrated, especially in the anime. Also Latias is HG and Latios is SS no? Even that option is better, well for me, because I don't care for ubers.

Either Lati is fine for me. I'm preferring HeartGold for Arcanine, Kyogre, and Ho-oh.

Gah, I need to remember to reserve these soon. I have a GameStop gift card, maybe I'll stop by soon to spend that and preorder them.

I'm planning on getting both. I did that with Diamond and Pearl too, and I didn't regret it. That gives me all of the exclusives, and gives me a game that I can have a permanent save on and one to replay.
