This game is going to be and is amazing.

These tutors change up a lot of the metagame too, most notably the UU.

Morning Sun Arcanine, Belly Drum Ursaring, Aqua Jet Feraligatr, not to mention the vast new users of Heal Bell and Encore.

On the OU side of things Vaporean getting Heal Bell and Dragonite getting Extremespeed are good changes.

I actually think that I'm going to get HeartGold now. Ho-oh is appealing to me more than Lugia at this point, and ir Teddiursa is an exclusive, then I'm sold.

I feel the same way about the music at some points too.

I think they re-used the Hiker sprite from Platinum too.. meh..

the game feels rushed at some points.. but that's because it was only worked on for what, a year? maybe they worked on it with platinum, but probably a bad idea.

Oh well, i still like everything so far. It looks good. Some of the music is epic -- though I never was a fan of the 4th gen instruments. I prefer 3rd gen still >.>

edit: according to half of /v/ the sound is much better on the actual DS though, so that's just more reason to be anxious for the import.

OMG, I loved the original G/S sounds!! But I gotta hear the new Rocket Battle theme for HG/SS, compared to the original, I've heard the new mix of the Trainer Battle 1 theme, so I'm eager to hear most of the new, remixed sounds!!

Each pokemon now looks like it sits on land instead of water pokemon flaoting about. Look at Gyardoes. There it is most obvious.
Its odd at first, but you find it better and more realistic pretty quickly.
Plus, makes Gyar look bigger :3

Have they changed the water/leaf/fire stone system in the game where you could only get like 1 by showing bills granddad a pokemon or something?

cos I remember that annoying me quite a bit, and getting it so late in the game too where it was effectively useless anyway.

That's why the GB Player was made.

And on Serebii he said that some gym leaders don't show @ their gyms on days, so he's finding the possibility of gym-leader rematches.

Edit: And you have to admit, while some of the HGSS sprites are rather poor, the new Steelix sprite is outright bad@ss.

Giovanni's been suspected for a while. I'm not sure if it was confirmed yet.
