2/3/4 people are unconfirmed, but it looks like we will have up to 5 at the most coming, most likely 4 or 3.

I know the bracket will take longer. The purpose of me posting that was to show how 4-man pools and 8-man pools differ greatly in length of time it would take (over double). I included the bracket for a reference point so people could see how long it would take compared to the bracket.

Yeah we can bring this. His wii is hacked and it doesn't have textures/music/in game changes. It just has the replay hack and automatically goes to the settings of 3stock 8 minutes.

Will there be any melee setups at this? I'm not good at it but I'd love to play some melee especially seeing Blunted and Meta going to this. I'll even bring a GC + melee if there will be some interest in it.

for the tl;dr

Two more entrants in singles, one more team in doubles, a infinte replay hacked wii with brawl, really wants to be seperate in brackets/pools. Not 100% confirmed though. I'll probably post within the next couple of days saying how sure we are of coming.

I played you like when brawl just came out on wifi, you played mario and beat me. I was t.link at that time, so it's cool to see that you still kinda play, since you're a strong melee player.

That Wii is pretty much exactly the kind of thing I want for this. That would be greatly appreciated. This means no Melee during singles pools and early in the brackets for both doubles and singles, but once we no longer need all the TVs, it won't be a problem. We will keep everybody updated as TVs become available.

Trust me, I've had a bad experience in Tri-Smash 2, where my first match was against liverymen (a guy I play against all the time from the same city), lost, then played my next match against Hillary (a guy who I also play against all the time... as well as it being stupid GaW dittos...), and got eliminated. So my entire brawl experience as far as tourneys go was playing against people I play against all the time >_>

I'm from Golden(same small town Koskinator's from, although I've never played him). I have almost no melee experience at all so I definately look forward to it even if it means I'm just getting *****. Are there any lower level melee players that're gonna be at this?

I main GaW, the worst character excluding the "Negligible" tier (i.e. 6th worst character in the game). I think that automatically qualifies me as a lower level melee player. My secondaries include Pichu, Kirby, Yoshi, and Ness (all in the Negligible tier), so... yeah. LOW TIER FTW!!!

Clouderz, using any character, has yet to beat my Kirby in melee. Poor kid, if only there was a character in melee that was as easy to use and as broken in every way as MK is in brawl, maybe he would stand a slight chance... :p

Weeeell I was in Kelowna for school when I found out he played smash. Then shortly after I moved back to Golden I heard he moved to Kelowna... so I just missed him.

I am probably the only person in BC who plays Yoshi in all three smash games decently well. Where you at, Jake?

just because you are good at with a character (and 64/melee mm is irrelevant anyway because you're much better than me at both) doesn't mean you main him

secondary does not equal main lol

you main random remember?

Actually, the reverse is my point exactly, and it is valid.

Jake is probably the best Yoshi in BC. I'm fairly decent and can do fairly well with Yoshi myself in brawl, but not as well as Jake.

In melee, I don't know how good Jake is with Yoshi in melee, but I think it's safe to assume I'm the better Yoshi.

So overall, between the three, I am the best Yoshi in BC. Jake may have brawl, but I have the three games overall.

Brawl ain't the only smash game, you know ;)

Also, I do main random in brawl. I have 35 secondaries, Yoshi being one of them (or 39-40 if you want to be technical) :p

Jake can actually place and win money with yoshi.

You for sure won't be winning anything in melee with yoshi, and no one plays 64 anyways.

Jake is the better yoshi, because his yoshi is good enough to actually be recognized in something, where all 3 of your yoshis mean nothing.
