I was knocked out by Lord Knight in singles, and it wasn't like it was a landslide victory. Ask him. Ask mow. Learn there is more to a player other than rankings. I just get really ****ty matchups in tourney

I agree. If anything should be proven, it should come in head to head matches during the tournament. Heated arguments don't serve any justice.

By the way, is there an external link for the Halo, Guitar Hero, and the like? I see people are talking about playing those games too, but the rules have to be posted somewhere if it's not appropriate for this thread. Especially if there are disputes.

Halo 3 is 2v2 double elimination best of three. MLG v5 TS rules & maps (except for the new forge map, Velocity, or whatever they call it). 7 minute time limit per game. $60 per team entry, $480 prize purse (70/20/10) + prizes.

Guitar Hero I don't have the ruleset near me, and I don't have the link on this computer. Inui isn't playing Guitar Hero, so there are no disputes over those rules.

halo 3 is low compared to halo 2

Actually, Master, I've run tournaments with all three editions of the game, and Halo 3 is the best. It fixed most of the glitches that made a lot of pros in H2 (BXR, doubleshot, etc). Plus, with forge maps you're not forced to use anything. I think Onslaught v1 is one of the best maps on H3, and it was built by MLG.

The H2 v. H3 debate is just like the CS1.6 v. CS:S debate. People spent so much time and they're so comfortable in 2 that when 3 came out, it was like learning how to ride a bike again. So from a promoter point of view H3 > H2 by far.

A good player is someone who gets past those ****ty brackets anyway, and this is coming from personal experience.

Ice, we have a very informal pre-registration sheet here. Be early. Doors will open at 10am. But just show up, bring your sticks and don't be a ****, are basically our rules.
