Not again...! :(

Well, this is on a Sunday, so I might come. Critical Hit takes priority, though.
I don't know how anybody else feels. But I think it's incredibly rude to promote another tournament in a tournament thread.

So go to Critical Hit, enjoy driving to Maryland for $4+ a gallon. Good luck down there.

It's also rude to not listen to half the community. CH is on a saturday, this is on a sunday, so don't worry.

The funny thing is, he runs tournaments. So you'd think he'd have a little respect for other promoters. It's a shame. I quit running tournaments a couple years ago because I got tired of dealing with nonsense like that from 16 year olds. I was hoping the tournament scene was a little more mature now.

Anyway, Brandon, I know you signed up the whole crew. But I R NOOB, and don't know who's on your roster.

Well, that puts us halfway to our limit. Too tired to update the list, but we're sitting at 21 (22 if Inui's man enough to show up after all his ****slinging).

Paraphrased version of my PM reply to you: Critical Hit has more money to win, TEAMS, significantly better stage rules, and is being hosted by a group of known top players that have hosted many successful events in the past. Better event. Deal with it. If you want to compete, make your event better and listen to the community you're hosting the event for. You're a businessman, no? You should know this.

Anyways, this is on a Sunday. Providing I'm not dead from CH, I'll be here.

Yeah I want to be put down for July 6 for Brawl if it's still available. I go to Temple and I live in Philly so it's definitely possible for me to go. What do I need to know for me to go and pre-register? Regardless of if someone replies to this or not, I'll contact Lord Knight cause I really wanna go. I'm trying to improve my Brawl game. I've only played some of yous in Melee at Scar tournaments.

its fine its on a different day im going to both.
Yeah, but like I told Inui in PM, it's ignorant to promote another tournament in a thread. I'm not promoting mine in anybody else's threads (namely his). I also told him that if he's actually trying to piss me off, he's achieving his goal.

The kid needs to grow the hell up. I'm tired of his bull**** in this thread.

Prereg list from page 11 is updated.

It's on a different day and it's all the way in Maryland.

Quit QQing over nothing. Even if it was on the same day, you should just step it up and make your event more desirable to attend.

You know what, you're done. I don't want you at our events. I don't want you posting in this thread. You're done, Lucas. I'm completely fed up with you acting like a nine year old with no respect for anything. Finished. Don't come on the 6th, don't come on the 20th. Don't reply to this. Don't reply to anything involving PhillyGamers. Banned.

You have zero respect. I tried to handle the situation with you maturely, and you kept nipping and yipping. You don't know when enough is enough. And by promoting another tournament you crossed a line. I'm not dealing with you anymore.

lol, you're ridiculous. Way to overreact. Don't order me around like you're a moderator or even someone that has earned an ounce of respect in this community yet. You don't have the authority to tell me to do anything here, and I can just attend your event anyways and not enter as Inui and you won't even know. ;)

Now, now, sir. You're clearly overreacting. You don't want to ban a known tournament director that can sway a whole crew to not come and just host an event the same day as yours in an excellent venue that costs us nothing. I don't want to declare war, but I do fight back.

Just chill out. We're going to show up to your event. The other tournament is all the way in MD and on a different day.;
Declare war, Lucas. Because for the last month you've completely missed the point. Whatever. Like I said, I'm done dealing with you.

While it's immensely rude to promote other tourns in people's threads, he has a point in their tournament giving more money, and having more experience.

****, you're capping this. Which means you're putting a limit on how much money we can make. And this thread is for discussion, and he's, by all means allowed to express his opinion, no matter how warped it may be at times.

Like I've told you before, if you're going to run tournaments, you have to be able to deal with everyone. For starters, Inui has completely calmed down, and now when he makes any little comment, you jump down his throat.

Second, instead of saying "Stop promoting," why not back your own tournament up with facts about how your tournament is going to rock. ABC has commercials on NBC. NBC still gets ratings, non? It's not on the same day, nor in the same state. Stop whining. You're just looking for reasons to post against inui. It's not impressing anyone.

Third, don't do the whole declare war ****. You're not eleven. Maybe you've forgotten where you both are, but €this is a message board. You seriously need to chill out. Inui, that whole same day **** will only work if I make it work. Don't drag me into this, idiot.

Next: You're in philly. Philly Brawl scene is minute. You're counting on 65% nj attendance, and as lame as it is, you're pushing us away with you're snapping at people. If you run ****ty rules, you're going to hear about it. Hell, even PRiDE said something! I've never heard pride say anything regarding rules before. If you're not going to change ****, at least man up and stand behind it. Don't just call people names. And banning them? For what?

And they're not his tournaments. They're Montage's. We all work hard on them, and make them as awesome as possible.

Velocity: Seriously. Commas. ****.

Both of you stop posting PM's. They're not private if you post them here. ****ing grow up.

65% of this list is not Montage.

If you run ****ty rules, you're going to hear about it.
The rules are anything but ****ty. You run tournaments with Frigate Orpheon and Pictochat on. Random events deciding matches should NEVER happen. I've lost stock on Frigate because of the stage flipping(I couldn't even hear it once because everyone around was so **** loud but I thought I would have because I could hear Meta's sword) and you saw Atomsk lose the match on Pictochat because the ramp came up. Ryoko has died at 14% because he was under the stage with Zelda and the ramp came up(the ramp makes the ledge go away.) If you have no problems with THOSE stages you shouldn't be complaining about Mario Circuit, Green Hill Zone, and Onett.

I lost to Atomsk's Dedede on Corneria by 7% in the first match I've ever used Peach offline and Dedede ***** Peach. I lost to his Dedede with Lucas on Corneria because I SDed AND he got an infinite on me that match. If I barely lost to him the stage hardly merits the ban but w/e. I had this AIM convo with him yesterday

AIM said:
TwistedTrevor: i think a big reason as to why the corneria matches were so close was because all i was trying to do was gain percent advantage and then run not to try and kill you
RedAxelRanger: well
RedAxelRanger: isn't that what makes the stage gay?
RedAxelRanger: i mean if you just straight out fought me
RedAxelRanger: and would do better that way
RedAxelRanger: how is the stage gay?
TwistedTrevor: shut up lol
Dm, do you really need to watch me play on Onett, Mario Circuit, and Green Hill Zone against Dedede if you saw those matches on Corneria?

I remember you saying Toon Link counters Jigglypuff when you mained him and you lost to mine on FD because I camped under the ledge.

Clearly you did not read about a thousand of Pride's posts where he complained how everyone doesn't respect people who chaingrab and that all tournaments should ban Dedede's chaingrab because it's unfair :laugh:

Okay, okay. :(

Lord Knight said he was going to talk to Paul. It helps that one of my best friends and another friend are codirectors of this, lol.

First of all, I wasn't the one that made the "declare war" comment. Secondly, this is 13 pages and over a month of me dealing with Inui saying the same thing. I'm tired of it. At some point either he needs to realize that what he's saying isn't changing my mind, or I'm going to snap. How long does a fly buzz around your head before you take a swat at it?

Secondly, we're capping at 40 (which is 2.5x's the limit of the other two fighter games, and 16 players more than our Halo limit) because the building only holds 100 people, and we're running 6 events.

The fighters this summer are a test for us. If things go well (which right now, ain't looking good), when we get into a bigger venue we'll have room for more players.

I talked with Lucas on AIM, and it got absolutely nothing accomplished. He continued to take random unnecessary shots, and kept poking me. All he's doing is instigating. He even admitted as much. He admits to being a douchebag and validates it by saying, "I win tournaments". Whatever, I don't deal with people that have that kind of attitude. I don't care how much respect they have in their scene. My boss and my landlord are the only two douchebags I deal with, and it's only because I have to.

I don't even have respect in the Smash scene beyond people realizing I'm a good player. :)
