*updated for M2K. 30 out of 40 preregistration slots are filled.

Ice, yeah, you are on the list. Guys, when you come we're going to have a list of your handles (the prereg list I have is just your usernames from this board). So when you get to the front door, give whoever's at the table your username, and the $20 ($10 venue / $10 for Brawl).

Ice, the tourney's being run by PhillyGamers.net. We're a professional tournament organization similar to Major League Gaming, but on a smaller scale (for now). This is the first of a six game Summer that will run from July 6 thru the end of September. (When we'll reload and start the Winter season.)

Last winter we ran a handful of Halo & Guitar Hero tournaments and were at Too Many Games convention in Reading. This is our first event with fighter games, which is why we brougt in L_K.

By the way, our website is going to get overhauled pretty soon. But we keep our MySpace pretty up to date: myspace.com/phillygamers.

You were at the Too Many Games failure? Ugh.

That's not the kind of thing I want to hear.

Also: What's the payout look like? If you had all 40 entries, what would 1st and second get??

The convention was called: "Too many games."

It was a complete failure. It had about 10 tables of old guys whining, and talking about collectible Nintendo games. (Flinstones 2! :D)

The tournaments were a joke. 10$ entry for 1st place to get a t-shirt.

First, that's the first negative thing we heard about Too Many Games. I had a blast, and it really is geared towards classic game collectors (it used to be called Philly Classic). And we ran 14 or 15 8-man FFA games with cash & t-shirts first place. We also sat about 100 players for games and met a lot of cool people.

It was a convention, not a tournament.

It was one of the most poorly constructed things I've seen.

Sorry, man. ^_^

Well, I guess I won't see you at the next TMG show. Mavn, I've already got you on the list (Brandon registered the whole crew).

LK, what are the chances of getting a Tekken or 3rd strike tournamnet. Hell I'd even play in a Dr. Mario tournament.
Dr. Mario  I have the one for the N64. I'd definitely jump in that.

Tekken and 3rd strike would get lots more attention as side events. But I can't jump in this until September when I start college.

Awesome. Guilty Gear.

Not awesome, no Super Turbo : (
There never is though.

But, yea, I guess I'll show up to socialize and get my rusty *** Guilty Gear back in.

Pimp, if you can get any more heads out for GG, let me know. Right now that prereg list is sitting at a whopping 5.

And they were complaining their was a 16 entry limit.

Benzaa, where you going to school this fall?

I'm going to Temple. :)

Also one of my friends is going to Drexyl, but he seems to wimp out of every tournament we find. Except the Best Buy tournament. I wasn't old enough at the time and couldn't enter.

Psh, there's more instant-losses out there besides M2K. Feed Banzaa to me or dmbrandon...or even worse, Atomsk, the dirtiest player in the world.

Montage wants to talk smack huh? I'll take you all on. Put all of montage on my side of the bracket and each match should be a money match.

Lol. Jk.

Atomsk already smacked the mess out of me in doubles the second round of Terrabite doubles.

Inui and dmbrandon beat me in doubles in a friendly. I'm pretty sure they were fooling around since dmbrandon picked Falco...

And M2k would most likely 3 stock me. I have my work cut out for me. Now if only I could get my Wii back.

But in all serious, I don't really care who I fight first. It will only make me better.

And it seems almost everyone I talk to knows someone who went or is at Temple. I have to meet some of these people sometime.

That wasn't dmbrandon. It was Ninja Edd, who's not even good. XD

I heard Paul got fired. :)
