So its me again :D. I just wanted to comment my experience and express my gratitude to Dan and everyone else in this thread. I asked for a noob guide a few pages back, but it was because I have never introduced my own codes, nor create one fora any game. But I guess we all have to learn a little right?
. So I decided to read every single post from the first page to the end of the thread and finally understood how things work with Dan´s code (I will now try PW code and see how thinks work).
So, my first troubles:
- Never, Ever used a code creator.
- Never learned from Hex
- Never wrote a code.
What did I do?:
- Read the entire thread
- Get an Hex Calculator on the web.
- Downloaded all the last programs, except for GeckOs. Im currently using 1.9.2
So I first tried getting that sandbag out with the code, and creting a new .gct file with code manager from PC, then I got that 256 Error! and decided to continue. What I didnt know was that ysing Code Manager randomly erased some of my previous code in order ( I suppose, since I dont know really how it works) to keep the 256 lines. How did I find it?, because CSS didnt had ZSS nor Sheik or the others. So I decided to compare both .gct files (My Previous Brawl Plus 5.0 Not screwed and the New with No Sandbag ), the result was a series of white spaces in HEx editor for both files. (I comment this since it could be useful for someone.. I think).
Then I read in this thread about using Cheat Manager, found it, test it, created the .gct with all the files activated, and the .gct result was perfect. Compared to the "virgin brawl+" the only difference was the sanbag. :D! With this resolved, on to Dan´s code.
So I tried with 2 Textures for FD and Battlefield and 4 SSE for Online = Rumble Falls. all of them will be loaded bu both Button Combination and Randomly. Plus Added a "Z" texture (26= 1A in Hex), Im goinf right, am I? to load the original FD and Battlefield.

The results are a big success :D !!! , Though the only think I have doubts with is that if I have to hold the Button Activator from the GC controller to load a texture, for example "Start" "X" , "Y" or "Up (Pad) + Start" from my code, or press it continously. I wonder this because sometimes, when I hold down the button I dont get the desired Texture, but sometimes I do.
Maybe its about the timing ?, so I was wondering when exactly do I have to press/hold the buttons?, I have read its when its Loading the Stage and after selecting it, but though sometimes It feels random, I was wondering if there is a specific timing? :?
Anyway, I wanted to share all of this and hope dont bother anyone
