Useless fun fact: You can down-taunt instead of ducking to avoid Fox and Falco's lasers. Use it to induce salt in your opponents.

Evil Master plan:

Step 1: Play nothing but Smash 4 (maining pika) until Smash 5 comes out.
Step 2: Surpass others who are busy playing other games.
Step 3: Become second best pika in the world (behind ESAM).
Step 4: Reference this post when I've completed step 3.

Mwahahahahahahahahahahaha!!
(nah don't worry tho guys. I have a loooooooong way to go.)

This is definitely a downgrade from the Brawl PGD.
Who's even here from that old place? :applejack:

The Brawl PGD is basically people bashing on new players when they were new players at some point.

I'm actually upset someone used their time to save an image of a twitch emote, upload it on an imagehosting site, copy it, paste it in the bottom bar, and clicked post reply.

Yo, ain't seen you in forever.

Handful of the old guard comes by now and again. Geo, Slush, Zaj, Max10n, K Prime, Thor, myself. Had Klo drop in once. The Brawl PGD actually sees some activity now and again still too.

New guard's pretty chill themselves, we doin OK.

There was a little salt for a minute, yeah. It passed, though.

I think, in the end, it was just railing against a perceived change. Ironically, if anything, we were the ones that changed - life got in the way more than any group did. We were older, y'know? Grew up. Well, physically. Got responsibilities, differing social lives, and the like.

Anyway all that's water under the bridge now. The old PGD went back to the same kinds of random conversing we've always had, and the new guard is doing well too.

You should visit. I told some stories recently.

Last I remember were new joiners having questionable social behavior, which led to arguments, and ended up in mudslinging insults with little regard to the current social topic. Bad blood persisted and they didn't want to put up with each others **** anymore so they stopped posting. All that remains is what little neutral swaggarts that were chillin' through the whole thing.

I am starting to really love Pikachu's Thunder Wave custom B. I think I might start using that over standard Thunder Jolt.

I'm almost sure thunder wave is the better move, but I can't seem to drop my t-jolt and still win.

I personally don't like customs, but that's just because I think they're overrated and add too much to a game that should be accessible if people want to start smashing, instead of having to grind for the set of customs they want.
(Stupid customs won't drop for me...)

I found it easier to get in grabs with TWave, even though damage-racking is slightly easier with TJolt. But providing openings outweighs the longer lasting (I believe Wave is shorter on duration) and lack of more damage.

I don't like customs even though they make my character better.

Anyway, ESAM vs. ZeRo in top 8 is going to be pretty hype. I have an online tournament to go to tomorrow, so I think I'll miss it, but videos will be uploaded to Youtube eventually. I'm really looking forward to seeing what ESAM's pika can do!
