PG's choices of marriage in FE so far make me cringe, but the fact that i love him and we are friends makes me still my tounge. chrom x sully and nowi x stahl. my heart pg plz stop wrenching it.
Funny that you say that while telling me last night that you disliked my marriage choices a lot. :p
I honestly didn't care too much on what choices I had for Chrom (very lacking in choices) and Sulley was my preferred choice out of what I had to choose from at the time.

Overall though for this run I'm marrying people based on what I think would be a good matchup based on their CHARACTER (for the most part) and not based on stats and the god almighty Galeforce (http://awkwardzombie.com/index.php?page=0&comic=061013).

In which case I wont be telling you anymore of my marriages because I like you and I don't wanna hear how I obliterated your heart from any more marriage stuff.

I dislike EDH because it's so much more expensive
Not by much. A solid Modern deck runs some $500, which is where my current Commander deck sits.

I had to heartlessly chart out proposed relationships prior to getting too deep in gameplay. My science > your feels.

I feel like I've been getting grumpier recently. Anyone else think that?

My Commander Deck didn't cost me anything, because I just threw it together out of cards I had (looking for an excuse to have a foil Tamiyo, The Moon Sage I pulled in a deck), but then again, mine is terrible unless I do something abnormally amazing, which happens like 5% of the time I play.

I don't understand the middle part.

I don't really think you're getting grumpier in here, but maybe you're asking people on the PGD in real life (not via internet), in which case I can't really help you there.

Leaf., people in the PGD will still like you even if you're not a 20something. It's going to be okay (although as someone who still has all 10 years of being a 20somethign in front of them, I can't say I know what it's like...poor old b*st*rd...)

Looked it up and figured it out: my previous LGS played EDH without the banlist. Time Walk alone is more than the $500 estimate, and I stopped carrying those cards around when I didn't have my dad as a second pair of eyes at all times. I'll probably end up making a budget version soon, since the talk about Magic is really getting me interested in playing again.

His sincerity is his charm. I hope. :/

All these folks not marrying for love. ¡Que lastima!

Leaf, what skill would our child inherit? I'll raise our daughter, you're in charge of our son.

I think our daughter will have your gorgeous blond hair, she'll be 6'1", cat laguz, an excellent archer, she'll have your shyness normally but my loudness when drunk. She'll inherit my smart ass ways, and she'll dislike men and women both.

She'll inherit Beastbane/Aggressor from me and Sol/Demoiselle from you.

@ Vale Vale Time Walk? **** son, I thought I was doing alright with my Wallet Sculptor.

Get with me when you get your updated list together, maybe we can sort out an online game.

@Max10n When your daughter comes back in time, I'm tapping her future ass. Fair warning.

Don't think about your kids' stats, think about the OTP you weirdos.
Fortunately I'm doing that on this first time casual run minus two couples where said two couples were kinda meant as a joke.
Considering those two are the exact two couples that wrecked FZ's heart I'd say the joke was on him.

Will do. Not sure how much time I'll have during the upcoming week, but I should be able to get something together.

I guess I just took the joke too far, huh? C'mon, even I can tell that wasn't real life (marrying fantasy creatures is a dead giveaway).

Also, dunno what "OTP" is, and on another note, Time Walk is super-banned (entire Power 9 usually is, and if you play French EDH their long lost 10th brother, Sol Ring, is banned as well...).

Wait redfeatherraven, do you have a Jace the Mind Sculptor? Foil or regular? If so, that's pretty awesome. Otherwise yeah, he definitely can sculpt the size of your wallet (or destroy it entirely...).

Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa.

Excuse me, but ******* better back the **** up.
I've had rights to PG for over 3 years now.
You can be his side piece, but he's marrying me.

And yeah, I have dibs on Max10n's son too.
But that's a revenge thing.

I do have one. Sort of. I managed to snag a copy of FTV:20, which had him and a number of other shiny objects. It's not the one from Worldwake, but it is foil, and prolly worth about a hundred-ish since I've kept it in good condition.

That's about half of the real deal shiny, mind, but half of money is still pretty damn money.

Roger already has dibs if I have a son irl, Red can have my daughter. Lmao
Well. If she comes back in time, and is amazingly hot, you have this scoundrel's word, I will tap that until she calls me Master Seal and changes class.

How about you try describing sex with Fire Emblem mechanics.

This man knows his stuff. I have some shiny stuff as well, most is unimpressive but a few are very nice.

And keep in mind, in every format, FTV Jace is still Jace, it's just people find you somewhat less impressive. But that doesn't matter when they have 6 cards in library and zero in hand.

Just keep playing Time Walk and you'll have plenty of time.
rate/fix my deck:
300x Time Walk
200x Black Lotus
100x Mox Sapphire
100x Ancesstral Recall
50x Battle of Wits

EDIT: @ Thor Thor , fun Modern deck idea: get rid of everything except for the gates (get multiple copies of each to compensate), and then add in four Treasure Hunt, four Explore, and 2-3 Oracle of Mul Daya.

I'd be down to do a misery crossover with anyone here. It would be like when Batman and Superman met but with cars that break down and clever quips.

Son is also blonde, about 5'5'', and I wanna say a Manakete (The relationship we have is pretty great.), but doesn't like to go into his dragon form a lot. He's shy about it, and constantly dodges it with subject changes and leaving the room. When that's not the topic, he's generally pretty cocky, but he means well and is relatively chill when people get to know him.

He uses magic, and gets Rally Luck/Renewal from me, and Gamble/Quick Burn from you.

Would be the best deck ever if only those cards were allowed to use more than 4... You should also add some Timetwisters (refreshes hand and all Lotus/Recall/Time Walk).

I'd try this deck if I had the cards though... actually I might just sell the deck, invest, and retire XD. 300 Time Walks * 1000 = 300,000 dollars in Time Walks right there.

Not sure what your deck idea about Maze's End being not maze's end though...

And wouldn't I want like 2 Azusa, Lost but Seeking??? Also for sure 4 Oracle, they aren't legendary so play them all, even if it slows the treasure hunts a bit.

Also probably wouldn't ditch the Maze's End, because need it as the win condition (it's not technically a gate).

Also this modded deck would suck, even if it would be hilarious to watch go off. Dies to Thoughtseize, Pithing Needle, Phyrexian Revoker, and stuff that's aggressive enough to kill it quickly (which is a lot of decks).

I do appreciate the thought though. Might try to do something similar to it if I ever get those cards.

I forgot how far back Modern goes, so I just listed the additional land ones from Zendikar block.

Updated list:
4x Maze's End
40x Gates
4x Treasure Hunt
4x Azusa, Lost but Seeking
2x Diabolic Tutor
4x Island
2x Swamp

You really don't want to be cutting off the Treasure Hunts early. If you don't get the gates you need from it, you're likely going to lose unless you draw another one. However, we also need to consider being forced to discard at the end of the turn, so running Diabolic Tutor solves both of those problems, as it can get us to the next Treasure Hunt.

it dies to stuff
the style points for pulling of victories with something like this is totally worth the losing that inevitably happens.

@ redfeatherraven redfeatherraven
building this EDH deck is seeming less likely. 100 cards is pretty rough to get to. I have 30-40 decent ones for a Black Deck (doom blade, royal assassin, some discarding and tutor things), but I'm pretty sure my dad wouldn't want me to randomly be taking out a bunch of his cards from older binders to finish this up. I can only think of two options:

1. Weird mix where I fight your Commander deck with a Modern deck. Pretty sure I would have an advantage, but the recurring boss monster might actually be a problem.

2. We both download Cockatrice, allowing me to proxy up an EDH deck without gathering the actual cards.

I'd sacrifice 1 of each gate for more basic lands (maybe 4 swamp, 2 island, and 2 forest, leaving 2 extra slots), then I'd also add for sure 2 Dark Confidant as well, because Confidant will draw an extra card every turn and will never burn for more than like 3 (if it hits Azusa, which someone wants anyway unless one is so far down they've probably lost).

I'd cut 1-2 Azusa for the Oracle you mentioned earlier - Azusa IS legendary so drawing into a second one is not that helpful, but the Oracle can be played in multiples.

Could also add like 2X Terminus, but I think Treasure Hunt would mess that up too much, so probably not (Terminus is super good though...).
