Wasn't even going to continue. When someone uses "I don't care" it's obvious to common sense that there's no point continuing to reason my end. I'm forever in his eyes someone who hates physically touching a woman.

Why would you play ## (soku) when 13.5 is out now?

Granted all my mains are gone in 13.5 which is why i don't play it...

I'm overly cautious about smash4 cause i'm worried it might flop competitively.

Well, I really do admire the idea of 13.5 staying true to the original series, in that they do their battles in the air, plus I REALLY admire the sprite work, but it feels...slow, compared to 12.3, plus (like you kinda said) the character diversity is wider in 12.3. I mean, I like my fighter to be ridiculously fast paced + complicated; 13.5 just...doesn't feel that way

The footage of Smash 4 with Little Mac looked pretty fast paced...I agree, it CANNOT be worse than Brawl. I'm actually fairly confident for Smash 4, considering the people that're helping develop it *happy face*

I dunno, the whole can't run wireless tournies might make it worse competitively.

Also take trailers with a grain of salt, they always look fast. You could make videos of brawl tech chase footage and it'd look fast if you cut out the rest of the slow parts.

When there are too many wireless devices (Read: Wii U Controllers) in the same room, they cause interference and usually don't behave like they should.

Wii controllers use bluetooth software, and since Nintendo doesn't like to be up to date with software technology, I'm assuming it's going to be only available on a 2.4GHz wave. Upon overloading that wavelength with too many devices, it could cause more interference and latency in receiving the inputs.

We don't know if that will be a problem yet.
Not directly with the Wii U, but it's been a problem with pretty much every technology thus far.
If Nintendo can somehow avoid that, that'll mean they're one step ahead from many others....

Wait, so Nintendo is still using the same software from I don't know a late example wiimote controllers would be like 2010/11 on the Wii Pro controllers?

They still make the Wiimotes + Nunchuck/CCPro/CC work via bluetooth. All the devices use bluetooth.

Also, upon reading up more on Bluetooth technology, it might not be THAT farfetched to be able to run a tournament (at least a normal size one) with what the WiiU has. Of course, the chances of more devices to use it will create more chances to cause interference, so it's still a gamble to see how efficient their newer technology (mainly the Pro Controller) is at handling such a stress test.

Lemme just throw my hat in with a few blurbs before the tide of new posts sweeps me away again.

Unpredictability is bull****, if necessary bull****. We made it up because we don't always have enough data. People are included. Yes this is creepy. Yes it's still true. No you needn't consider it much. No this does not make you Batman.

Geo and Belle should hug it out. Srsly.

SCIENCE.

PZ I feel your pain, homie.

Sazzy, same. Also we need to do that goomy trade that I keep forgetting about sometime. Find me man.

We've got quick attack we're all goddamn ninjas.

Slap a ****-ton of aluminum foil on three sheets of cheap wall-like material, ground it, and stuff the setup, players, and a judge inside. Next match in an identical box setup next door.

Faraday cages everywhere.

Ban all other bluetooth communications near setups.

Smack anyone who johns about all this shiny distracting material in their face.

Problem solved.

SCREW wireless controllers, batteries cost too much (prolly cause I'm poor)

How about online? Obviously it's gonna be better than Brawl's (ugh, God, the button delay). Anybody hoping for any specific modes? :)

Geo, sorry, I really had no reason to be so rude. Actually, I've putting myself in high stress situations in real life lately, to better myself (self-discipline), so I may've attacked some of you (passively AND directly); there is no reason to unleash my stress on y'all, and I humbly apologize *breath*

Buy chargers. They cost more, but they'll save a lot in the future.

Skullgirls' GGPO or something similar.
Alternatively, a default Ethernet connection enabled. That would be slightly better.

Oh yeah, SG's online is amazing, we'd all be quite satisfied with somethin' like that...but eh, Wi-Fi warriors will be satisfied with anything better really.

I wonder if there will be like, ranks or somethin'

I'd like to see KoF style 3v3's. It's 1v1 but each player chooses 3 characters. When a character is ko'd the next character comes in and this continues till all characters are out.

@ Bell It happens, man. Sorry about acting up about it in retaliation. I am easily provoked into self defensive posting.

I'm imagining the set ups at tourneys not being too close to each other and for doubles they'd use every other set up to give space.
Edit --- Space in which that the amount of bluetooth shouldn't be that condensed in one area ---
Although one situation comes to mind when set ups are syncing at the same time.

Oh, I imagine that functioning exactly
PT in Brawl. Just picture a team of MK/Marth/Olimar *evil laugh*

Everybody is happy now, yay!

But yeah, a king of the hill (MK9) type thing would make me suuuuuuuuuuuuper happy.

@red: pm me sometime soon for the deets. Ill be free all tomorrow to trade

and finally, I just wanted to say that UNL was the only touhou i ever really liked.

Really? You don't even like the music, or cute character designs? That's basically what Touhou is about :)

The slower ones are the wisest ^ - ^

I want this mode so badly for smash. That way i have a reason to main more than 1 character.

If i do take smash4 seriously, definitely gonna want to have multiple characters to pick from.

I'd like to see a 3v3 setting. It'll definitely make team composition and CP composition much more important from the beginning. Plus, it'll add more flare to the game than just 1v1s and doubles. Though, I'd expect smash's version of 3v3s to be 1 stock per character (?) to allow for proper tournament duration.

Dunno, Sakurai may surprise us with a 10v10 setting; I think a 1v3 (going against one at a time), and the single player with only one stock, would be such epic fights. Let's see what a Pikachu can REALLY do!!!

That's called a gauntlet and it's basically a 1 Vs. X crew battle were the solo player has the same amount of stocks as the number of opposing players who play with one stock.

I think I've heard it (roblox) via the internet, didn't really pay much attention.

I played MC a bit (just before beta) before everyone at school started spazzing out about it. MC's lack of promised updates from Notch was pretty disappointing. I don't really play much anymore, dat nostalgia though.

Random Music stuff:
