I already road-tripped to Florida-- and New York. :/
All that's left is road-tripping Southwest, and Northwest to complete the corners of the country.

Northward the farthest I've ever been to by car/bus is Reno. Southward (as well as eastward) I've been all the way down to Puerto Vallarta (26-ish hour bus trip) yet I don't know the Baja peninsula past the hour and a half drive to Ensenada.

Yeah, driving in Philly is pretty bad. The inordinate amount of traffic lights is a pain, and I'd always get stopped by nearly 80% of them. Also, all the drivers there seem pretty crazy.

@Bobby: Philly drivers may be crazy, and all the one-way streets may be annoying, but at least the city layout makes sense. And generally people are good drivers, which is why they can afford to be a little reckless.

Boston, on the other hand, has crazy drivers who don't know what the **** they're doing.

Only in places where traffic is perpetually congested and the streets are confusing. -_-; You don't have to defend Philly. Driving there is not pleasurable but the authentic cheese steaks make it worth it.

Two steps ahead of you on the source, since I have this klepto habit of grabbing .gif files and he showed up in the filename. Checked into him, he's got some pretty sweet stuff all round.

The longest I've been in either of those cities is the time it takes to fly over them at 500MPH.

I had to go to Boston (well, Cambridge) to tour colleges. It took us fourty five minutes to make a seven minute drive, although most of it was due to my mom getting lost. She said driving around there was horrible (traffic or roadsigns or bad drivers or something). I was too busy playing Animal Crossing to really notice, but it does seem bad.

Well, instead of playing many hours of SSB by myself as Pikachu, I... played many hours of SSB by myself as Captain Falcon. Pretty sure nothing is more American than playing a Japanese character in a Japanese video game consisting of all-stars from a Japanese company.

For some reason it was really, really quiet in my neighborhood this time. Every year I remember they popped fireworks all day starting from the day before the 4th to well into the 5th. This year it was only a handful of fireworks the day before, a few fireworks at a certain time on the 4th, and absolutely none today. Despite it being illegal in cities people still do it, but I'm guess they're starting to go after people. Does anyone else have issues with excessive fireworks usually?

The immense amount of smoke coming out of the hundreds of fireworks around different locations pretty much had us. It was pretty bad outside, and me and mom were barely seeing what was ahead of us.

Spent my 4th relaxing after an intense 3 week work schedule that includes traveling every weekend. Had a friend come over today, and we just played games most of the day. I was supposed to have another friend I haven't seen in months now come over, but he got swamped with work. I'll most likely get to see him tomorrow though since he's hosting a party. Was gonna get a tan, but it's been raining everyday this week. =/


Still, it's quite a good mini vacation despite not getting to see the rest of my family down in FL (half of my family flew down Monday while I was working). I'll get the chance during Thanksgiving though.
