One of those days where I probably shouldn't have picked up the stick sigh.

Good stuff Minato, sorry about the way I played. Getting DP'd by Liz literally just made me want to not play.

Man theres too many things to think about at all times >_>

Oh well, I understand about that DP over netplay.

Was hoping that more people would log on, but at least I got in a lot of matches.
Gonna be studying everyday for my finals, so I won't be making lobbies until mid-December most likely.

Afterwards, I'll try to train up for SCR, so I'll be playing catch up.

Hey guys, just popping in to see how many others have P4G, and to say that I'm loving the Golden a LOT. They added so much and, in my opinion, gave more of a reason to want to play it way more.

Atlus also became EVEN MORE awesome in my eyes just because of that hiimdaisy "Fsteak" reference.

By the way, if anyone who may have P4G sees "What the Devil!?" as a message in the SOS feature, that's me. It was too great of an opportunity to pass up. :p

I'm liking Golden a lot. I heard the original Japanese dialogue during that Marie scene was similar to what we got in the localization on the word-play, but it was great that they used it to sneak in a reference. As long as they don't make up references out of nowhere like how NISA sometimes does, I'm ok with it.

Liz's DP... doesn't seem all that threatening, even on netplay? Admittedly it doesn't guardpoint so you can't cancel on reaction into your own DP or anything, but it only hits against grounded players and is so slow you can roll past or cross it up. I dunno, maybe this is just because I bait from the air more than it's good for, which works against me in matchups like vs Yu and Mitsuru.

Yeah, it's terrible. The only annoying/frustrating part that Tec meant was getting thrown when you thought you teched it in time online.
But yeah, such a terrible DP. Only time I like it is if I get a FC DP in the corner to combo off of or if I do it early in a round to cast Charm.

Best way to punish it (imo) when you're in neutral on the ground for most characters is just to back dash right before the actual grab. It's like a free fatal combo for most of the cast.

Its rather just the thought of getting hit more than how much it does. Just a mental thing, I was sorta frustrated honestly I probably shouldn't have played lol.

Its whatever, it happens.

That was great.

Reminded me that I have done little with Akihiko, I need to go learn some combos.

ggs all! Totally wasn't expecting my win-streak, lol. Unfortunately I gotta go grab stuff from stores that close in an hour from now so I'll see everyone some other time.

Not sure if anybody in this thread or whatnot is going to NEC or is in the area of it, but if you are, good luck now since I'm going to be out of town until Monday and won't be able to catch the stream.

Your Kanji... is too... ARGH

XD
lol

For what it's worth, your Yukiko's a lot better than the last time I'd seen it, good work with the improvement. You seriously almost got me that last game, until you got too caught up in the moment and didn't just jump after 5AA on block. 236b ender is good to reset me fullscreen, but don't be reliant on 3d fan oki - I'll gladly take the damage of blue life and a CH fan to break one of Yukiko's cards. When I noticed a Kanji player doing the same to me I started mixing in not throwing a fan, holding the Agi, then running in and doing a combo off of CH Agi. Also, use your meter. Sitting at 100 for too long is throwing away damage, never a good thing vs Kanji.

Sorry about dipping out so fast Minato, something came up. Are you working on Chie? I am so not looking forward to eating fc combos from her lol

GGs, everyone. Decided to hop on since I was tired of studying.

No problem. And I want to. I started using her just today after messing around with trials.
I haven't played in awhile so I figured why not learn someone new.

She was fairly easy to pick up. It's like Yu and Yosuke mixed in one. lol

I don't think FC's with Chie are very common, but she can do ridiculous damage off of just normal CH's so I don't think she really needs it anyway. Chie is scary.

Thanks. Is that still with 3d thrown in first? Or just go from 236b end?

You still need to bait the DP with 3D. If you don't want to break cards then don't use it, though, because there's no way to really keep your Persona safe except maybe doing 2D and having him DP nothing then countering with a far 5C 2C.
