Marines have always been brutal. The very first arc in the entire series was Axe Hand Morgan abusing innocent people.

I hold onto my theory they were founded by a Pirate crew during the Lost Century and claimed to be on the side of justice to attract more crew.

i also didnt like fishman island

Anyway predictions.
1: luffy is going to punch or jump on the dragon and want to eat it
2: there might be a small short fight with the dragon b4 they befriend it.
3: luffy's dad might be mentioned, like luffy saying "my dad is a dragon" (but i doubt it)

Also the swordsman Moria had was from that country, but b/c he had brooks shadow he used a different sword technique then people from that country

i didn't like hody or decken, and i think strong villains are able to drive the storyline just as much as the heroes. hody and decken were terrible villains. hody and decken were both really pipsqueaks compared to the strawhats.

the queen, however, was a very respectable character so i really liked her parts in the arc's back story. i enjoyed shirahoshi as a character. i also liked the whole thing being a setup for luffy vs big mom.

Yeah, but lighting people on fire on-deck? From what we've seen of grunt Marines, they're not bad people. I guess that's G-5/New World quality Marines though.

I admit I got a little fan-serviced when Zoro and Robin were going.

But because Fishman Island was easy-mode for the Straw Hats, it's hard for me to believe that half the crew will just be chilling on the ship till things get sorted out since we've only gotten a glimpse of their post-time-skip might. There's too much potential here for showing the awesomeness that will be the entire crew's new power under real stress.
