fishman island makes 100x as much sense and is 10000x more moving when you read it in one go

i actually empathised and stuff (though shirahoshi still doesn't strike me as overly heroic), and the villains are more memorable the second time round, especially the flatfish lol

guess one piece is still pretty decent atm

but still, i think we naturally compare it to the previous few arcs

impel down was absolutely the most exciting arc to read once a week. that place was hyped up like crazy, and it lived up to the hype. luffy being without the crew showed us how absolutely insane he was, and how easy it is for him to gain allies.

This may just be me but I kind of liked the idea of Chopper going berzerk like at Enies Lobby. This form of his is less intimidating imo.

I liked to think it would be like a secret gtfo move they could use but I guess he's just ol' chopper again
