kishimoto just has a more realistic style, as well as minimalist.

oda's art is a lot more detailed, as well as exaggerated. also one of the greatest things about oda's art is that he always draws the background, and everything is so consistent and the worlds are so creative. naruto does that too which is great, but it's usually random nature.

one piece gets better every chapter but the current arc is starting to get stale

we seem to get temp hyped for a little while (esp. with the new franky, holy ****) but like, i think oda has been holding back on the full force action that will make the straw hats look like they're actually trying.

the noah falling down will certainly culminate to something interesting

Current arc is taking too long it feels like filler, with this extened fishman island stuff and the randomness, I dont like how they just take a pill and get stronger.

it seems lazy on the writers part.

arlong wasn't particularly strong, and the main villain is apparently a subordinate of him, so he needs some way of being stronger

the 2-year training montage theme was already used with the strawhats

also, steroids are bad, so bad guys using steroids is fine

The only thing that concerns me is what happens to ES after this arc? It would seem as though SOMEONE else would be able to get their hands on them and willing to use them, but that's also not something I'd really want to see later on.
