Well it's not made out to be treasure. One Piece is clearly supposed to be mysterious at this point. It's quite possible it's the Rio Poneglyph or something else. It's, in my opinion, not treasure. That would be rather silly.

They just want to find excuses to keep downloading their HD anime with bad translations for words such as "nakama".

For the people that live outside of North America they don't have the Simulcast so it is understood for them, but it really bothers me when people who live here watch fansubs instead of the Simulcast.

The Simulcast is amazing, and it's a real privilege that we got it. It wasn't something that I would have even dreamed of before they announced it back in Spring of 2009. To think that there are people that still won't watch it for such stupid reasons.

FUNimation treats One Piece right. The least anybody could do to support them is to watch the streams on their website. It doesn't even cost you money.

I did, and if you can't tell from my last post (ironically before this happened), I feel quite strongly about this.

FUNimation is 100% in the right. 100%. And I am just so happy to see these downloaders getting held accountable for once.

There just really isn't a single valid excuse for them downloading the episodes over watching them on FUNimation's One Piece site. The site that provides you with a free and legal sub a mere hour after it airs.

I can't feel bad for the people getting charged here. I know that a lot of issues are not so black and white, but this is the extreme. These people have the Simulcast available to them, and through their horribly false senses of entitlement, they still think that they can just go and download it for in HD. Not only is this 100% illegal but you can't even attempt to justify it morally.

It's like nothing can make them happy. I'm actually pretty sure that nothing ever could make them happy. They seem to have no grasp over legality and how we can't always have things exactly how we want in the legal world. Especially when they are FREE.

So I say, Go FUNimation!

it's really an unstoppable power of the internet for information to be duplicated and distributed rapidly and infinitely. still, i think it's commendable that funimation's trying to defend the idea of intellectual property.

in the background, eiichiro oda probably doesn't care and is having a ball simply developing more story.

hey i have kind of been skimming through the most recent chapters b/c of lack of time. also my internet is slow so instead of going back and re-reading everything that has happened since they got to merperson/fishperson island can someone be so kind to highlight the important parts so far. thanks (if someone does this).

Also everyone is aware of who the new emperor is right, my guess could be wrong but to me it seems like it will be

at the entrance of the island they're confronted but generic lackeys, they break in through the fishman island bubble, which is highlighted as dangerous and stupid

luffy, sanji, usopp and chopper (i think) wind up in camie's house and are taken to happy mermaid land, sanji almost dies of a nosebleed due to prettiness and stuff

princes of the fishman island come and look for luffy, they break away from them by beating a whole lot of people up, including lackeys from the fishman island entrance

it's revealed that the princes don't actually want to kill him and are instead carrying a message from jimbei, one of the fishman entrance lackeys is revealed as uber-powerful

fortune teller woman shirley predicts that luffy will destroy the island, the emperor 'big mam' is introduced

new fishman pirates captain kills a few people to show off his rage

king neptune comes and escorts them to his palace, luffy runs ahead and runs into the mermaid princess

that's about all
