I like the feeling of a new arc , knowing that they'll finally get on this island , knowing that plenty of stuff will happen to them , knowing that if they happen to escape this fishman guy with Arlong's tattoo , they'll meet up again on fishman island for a more fair fight

Rumors have been floating around suggesting that Brook should have Bon Clay's voice actor, but I personally like Vic Mignogna since he's natually musically inclined. So far, he's only been in that Rainbow Mist mini-filler arc as the Mayor's son.

I don't know, maybe I'm just crazy, but I don't really see Vic being a fitting Brook voice. I'm not saying that I dislike him or anything (I like him as Edward Elric and LOVE him as Tamaki), it's just I don't see him as Brook.

Plus, people would be like "OMG! Brook sung the first opening song, and the third one, and..." lol.

I'm not saying that I have a better idea, unfortunately. I just don't think that Vic should qualify for Brook solely because he can sing.

The episode was okay, I guess. Even the Buggy filler was okay, but the next episode should be better with Luffy vs. Garp.

We're getting really close to that in the anime now, by the way. I didn't realize we were that close, but this episode covered chapter 570, it's coming up. Barring no excessive filler or anime breaks we'll be there in just a month.

I still think OP should go to a season format like Gintama...granted the fillers are better then what people had to endure for Naruto before Shipp, but still...next thing you know, OP is gonna be like the next DBZ...5 minutes = 10 episodes.

I really do not think it's anywhere near that bad. The anime is a whole year behind the manga for One Piece. Although it has not always had the best pacing (one or two of the Impel Down episodes were really slow) they haven't been on the level of DBZ, and really One Piece itself does not lend itself to being that bad.

The anime is doing just fine right now.

I dunno, I stopped watching the anime after they rescued Nico Robin, because that **** was moving way too slow for me. Personally, I would prefer animes to work around the speed of Gintama or DBKai.

As if Gintama has a pacing at all. From what I saw of it, it was just episodic, although there were a couple of serious arcs. I don't see how it is comparable here.

And Dragon Ball Kai isn't even its own series. It's Dragon Ball Z with lots of scenes cut. Lol. The only reason they can do that with Kai is because it already aired a long time ago.

^ Lol, Goku going SSJ3 was literally a 5 min and half scene...assuming an episode is 22 minutes...that's nearly 1/4 of the episode LOL.

And I know Bassoon...DBKai isn't its own series, but it does what I like...no filler.

I seriously don't understand why animes don't go to a season format...it's like they are afraid they will lose viewers. Just have X anime air in the spring, Y in the summer, Z in the fall.
