Why not try giving your mom some of your winnings from the tourney you just won? And charge electricity fee. I don't think we would mind $1-2 (I can't speak for everyone) if it results in serious training and not some smashfest where half the players aren't trying.

I concur with noids sentiment. You do have evidence in your hands that proves the sessions are working. I would suggest trying to offer her incentive to continue as you have evidence it is successful.

Alright. We came to an agreement so that I keep hosting these.

She wants $15 everytime I hold a session. Doesn't care how long it; just if I'm having people over for the evening she wants $15 left in her office. I said OK. Oh, Lobos, I showed her that list; logic doesn't work on parents.

Anyway, 5 people (including me) x $3 = $15. So because I ain't payin $15 for you guys to come over to get better I have to start charging a $3 entrance fee. I hate it. I think it's gay. If I had my own place I wouldn't give a ****, but this ain't my place so rules are rules.

With that said I'm sorry guys. That's just how it's gotta' be. In retrospect I still think it's worth it. I've only been doing these sessions for 3 weeks now and we saw at Bolt's that these things DO work like Tant mentioned.

Please feel free to whine, *****, complain, and moan. I've been doing the same thing all day.

@Freeze: Sorry I didn't get back with you. Haven't checked this thread in a bit.

@Coney: Uh, wow? Another reason why I've had these at my place is because I don't have a way of getting anywhere with no car. But I think I give great advice, have a good space, and ultimately produce really good results. Wish you'd support me rather than abandon me.

The logic behind that is, even if the wii itself doesnt use much power....your big *** tv and all the lights,fans, laptops, fans, etc. use up more electricity than normal.

Solution: Play in the dark with no ac/fans LMAO

Solution 2: Save up your money and get a car you bum

Solution 3: Stop johning and get $3 bucks when you come over. It ain't an arm and a leg and you're gettin' what you pay for. It's not like this is just a regular smashfest, and the people who've come over the most (Alan and Meep) obviously got way better in the process.

But really it's not that big of a deal. People usually come to at the max 2/3 of these things per week so that's $6 a week. It's not unreasonable in the least bit.
