I bet you could get up to lv30 before I do Alex, I'm still really bad at LoL. I'm trying to ADC bot with Kog with a Nunu player for support. I can't get 70 minion kills by ten minutes, but I'm practicing. I'll get a Steam account up, much appreciated!

I have a feeling Melee is gonna be in the main lineup at Evo 2013...

I think with enough demand they would put it on the main stage. Just make your voices known, I know the Melee community could actually get it done.

Well, the thing isn't just about if we can get it up, it's that smash (because of our ruleset) takes a ton of time to finish. I feel like you can run pools and bracket for one game faster than bracket for melee/brawl.

It would be in their best interest to have Melee main stage, technicalities be damned.

Steam doesn't allow 'gameless' accounts to add ppl, though I think others can add me from their side (unrivaled311). I got the airmech demo since i've always wanted to play herzog zwei.

I got a call from Chris and from what I gathered we'll be gaming in Norman tonight.

Mizuki iirc there are some Brawl and 64 players in Tulsa. IDK where they post, maybe okgamers.com or those other smash websites.

SRKers are looking into getting monthly tournaments started up at Cactus Jacks beginning early Feb, so any one that plays the big 2 might want to brush up on those skills. If we're lucky maybe all Evo games (which could mean Melee).

I got 50cs in ten minutes one of the last times I played. still a long ways from 100cs while dealing/avoiding harass from good players.

Next time I play Melee I'm going to try out CF again and maybe Jiggs.

Hey there. :D We still have a remotely active Melee community. Actually, four of us live in one house in Norman. There are a few smashers in OKC/Edmond, and apparently at least one in Tulsa.

We haven't held a tournament here in ages, but we still randomly get together to smash all the time.

Xiroey now-a-days I usually just tag along wherever Kos-mos or Po Pimpus goes (*sigh*... I used to be my own real contender), so I'm not really up to speed concerning Oklahoma's smash scene outside of this thread. But I honestly think Oklahoma has a decent amount of good and willing players that are simply waiting for more local events to be organized.

I'll try out Dota2 whenever it's f2p, for now its LoL time

Oye, I can name a few.
There tends to be at least one smash event each month or so here at OU (Usually in the afternoon in the Couch Cafe). But, you don't tend to see many skilled players join.

If you'd like, I can let each of you know a week or two in advance whenever one is about to begin. Thats usually around the time that the fliers are posted.



I've heard a lot of good things about LoL. In fact, two of my friends here play it.
I've never tried it myself though, what's it like?

Ahh that's cool Xiroey, it's always nice to participate in events, even if they play it strictly at a casual level.

LoL is kinda like an RTS (warcraft) and action RPG (diablo). One of the main game modes is 5v5, you control a single unit while your base sends cpu minions into 3 lanes. The goal is to destroy the enemy nexus deep in their base, surrounded by turrets. You can level up and get gold to purchase items as you defeat other players, minions, monsters in the "jungle" between lanes, turrets, etc.

BTW thx for the DotA2, Alex, time to get serious!
