Just Ryu -- I really want to learn the fundamentals right now, but I want to continue learning. It is really clean-cut, which is something that I actually like.edit: Brian, SF4 is kinda clean cut like Smash64 (which i think you'd like), who did you use?
60-30-10 is standard nowadays...70-20 kinda shafts second place. How does everyone feel about a $5 venue, $10 per tournament pricing? Payouts would be a 70-20-10 setup. Current standard rules, unless the people want something different.
Its pretty simple. P4A (and most traditional fighters in general) are built to be competitive, so there aren't any special rulesets or anything you need. Standard smash style 2/3 double elim brackets with 3/5 finals is pretty much all there is to it. Only real thing worth consideration is whether to run it on 360 or PS3.If I run P4A, can you guys help provide setups? Honestly, I've never run a traditional 2d fighter tourney....not sure how this goes :/
You postedDude, i posted this on the thread, and I also told Karl lol
Both factors satisfied.
Also, you forgot that I don't really have a phone that I can use to do that.
Anyway, I don't know if I can meet tomorrow also
yesterday, but that to me didn't read so much as a "this is definitely happening" as it did an "anyone want to do something then?" I was actually expecting you to probably show up around that time, though. Also, I do remember that you don't have a phone, which was just kind of one those unfortunate things that couldn't be helped.Anyone down to play tomorrow at Andy's at 7:30 ish? Alex? Chris?
which also didn't really tell me anything definite. I really had no idea you all were comingIs anything going down in Norman tonight? Because I'm thinking about coming down... Can work out some ideas for this tourney while I'm there as well as punch some people in the face.
Gotta kick it with my boy Yawara as well![]()
im not buying Keystone. i dont want the ****s. everything else tho is understandableyou have been excommunicated. To become recommunicated I'll need a copy of your driver's license, your SSN, your credit card number, a vial of your blood, your car keys, a 30 pack of Keystone and a bag of ice, new socks and a 50 dollar copay.
Do you know which room(s) was the one that OHSNAP3 took place? And is that the same room Kuni reserved for that brawl tournament? We're interested in that one the most right now.Ok, so looking at http://union.ou.edu/content/view/88/ , a student organization should be able to rent the Sooner Room for free. I don't know if "university rate" means the rate at which a university employee can reserve the room, but I'm a university employee, so hopefully that's what it means.
EDIT: There are also other rooms that student organizations can rent for free.
