double falcon.Actually, thinking about it, if I were to play smash again, I think doubles is in order. Someone team with me please?
Why did I not already know about this channel? You should watch some videos on it (I usually watch P4A videos on GameAcho's channel).
Because YOUR FACE... Just messin' with you, Seth. How's things going in the DFW? It's been too long, playa. Why did I not already know about this channel?
Slow. Emily's been out of town for the past month+, and I've been in the middle of moving apartments, so very little Melee happening.Because YOUR FACE... Just messin' with you, Seth. How's things going in the DFW? It's been too long, playa.
Wtf do you mean if you were to play Smash again? Doubles is definitely in order.Actually, thinking about it, if I were to play smash again, I think doubles is in order. Someone team with me please?
Project M is legit. I would be interested in Megabusing to that if I'm available then.A good deal of Project M going on though, despite the fact that most of the new Melee kids aren't interested in it. My next tournament for it will be on Sept 1st![]()
I highly recommend it! Getting used to the system might be odd, but that can be fixed with enough training mode. And TBH you don't need to be able to the highest level combos to be able to win in Guilty Gear style games; there aren't zero to deaths like in Marvel. As long as you learn how to use bar to open up your options, you'll do fine =]Persona 4 was so amazing, it almost makes me want to pick up P4A. However, I've never in all my days played a game like that. That whole combat system is something completely foreign to me, so I don't think I'll be able to pick it up.
I'm sure we could arrange for pick up and housing if you do come downProject M is legit. I would be interested in Megabusing to that if I'm available then.
nobody plays zelda in Oklahoma but me.doubles op, i don't know who i'm teaming with though, possibly karl for sexy zelda/sheik teams, but idk
That is true, and it does make the superpowers more interesting from a balance and variety perspective. Plus, Marvel superheroes function in groups more often than DC superheroes: you have the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, the Avengers, etc. on the side of Marvel, and with DC the only group you really have is the Justice League, which is pretty much just the set of all DC superheroes. It is really an interesting contrast between the two sides.I think the thing the good point about Marvel though is while its characters may not be as 3-dimensional, their powers are.
In many ways, I feel like that's why DC doesn't capture a lot of the imaginative properties of superheroes seeing as how a lot of their powers are a bit too direct and deal with too many superlatives (strongest man, strongest woman, fastest man, sharpest shooter, fastest swimmer).
But for Marvel characters, no one outside of like Magneto or characters that are intentionally monolithic appear as broken to me.
Like instead of the Flash who's the fastest thing ever, you have Quicksilver who's a dude who's really, really fast. Or even really brainy characters aren't perfect physical specimens like Bruce Wayne or Brainiac. Instead they're confined to wheelchairs like Charles Xavier or are given mutant abilities that juxtapose their human qualities as seen in The Beast.
lol not at all, f4 is just old as balls and the others have had lots of pop culture referencing and film/tv adaptations for many yearsPlus, Marvel superheroes function in groups more often than DC superheroes: you have the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, the Avengers, etc. on the side of Marvel, and with DC the only group you really have is the Justice League, which is pretty much just the set of all DC superheroes.
