I......don't know. I really just want to try out my new characters, and given as well as me and JCaesar did at Beyond the Limit, I feel confident that I can return home with some money. Plus, SNES was a failure, and this is going to partially make up for it.

1. Im pretty sure jcease is teaming with someone from md/va
2. The game has changed ALOT since btl.
3. Im going. 2 people already wants to team with me but if dotcom goes im just teaming with im. I don't think yal understand how gay ivy is in teams(cause she sure as hell sucks in singles.)


Aso AK im off today if u wanted to play. If not i work the rest of the week (including fri and sat) So i wont be home til around 7.30(execpt for thurs. Im going to plush to see sexy *** nicki minaj lol)

If I hold BtL2 before an official set is made, I'm highly considering making it 4.1 (the same version as BtL), since that was technically their last official build. I'll let people know way ahead of time though to practice up. 4.1 is also my favorite by far, and was before a lot of really stupid changes.

Chibo no disrespect but that is the dumbest thing u could do and i highly expect everyone to hate that decision. No changes have been made that are as dumb as lucario being able to attack out of up b and thats in 4.1 Also not to mention ivy's spammy leaves are in the 4.1 set. The broken builds of squirtle and marth are still in 4.1. Ivy can multiple up b. Etc Etc.

100% agree here. Chibo, if you hosted BTL2 with 4.1, you'd likely not get much attendance if any at all. You shouldn't exclude the set just because you hate changes or find certain ones stupid. Most of the "dumb" changes are out the next set anyway. Ganon Utilt IASA? Gone next set.

The idea here is that to have a tourney with a set to show what things are broken/ridiculously good so that they can be taken out in the next set we would release. The idea isn't to go back to an old set, which we already got data from just because you personally don't like what's in the set.

So what should you do? Help us polish 5.0 for BTL2, which is currently what you're not doing. Going back to 4.1 also is not helping anyone at all.

Ultimately, it's up to you but if you want a good turnout, you as a TO should know going with 4.1 is a disaster waiting to happen.

the latest official is 4.1, and the weeklies are specifically said to be in development and generally not be used at tourneys. iv been pushing for a new official to be released in the wbr for this purpose. its been like 4 months since an official release.

bbrawl has a lot of stupid changes imo. theyr idea of balancing works per se, but doesnt make for the best competitive gameplay with the spirit of what smash was intended at the beginning
too many guaranteed trip moves for 1 tbh

Brawl+ is way too easy. I got 7th at SNES, having only played the game in like March once or twice. I went all Squirtle and used MK in one match (what the **** did they do to him?!). I lost to ksizzle in winners (3rd place, also never plays Brawl+) and GuruKid in losers (2nd place, beat Mew2King, pretty much exclusively plays Brawl+).

I'm not gonna call it a bad game, because it isn't, in the strictest sense of the word "game". It's definitely fun, and gets relatively exciting. However, I think it's completely unfit to be tournament standard for many reasons.

i just for a lil bit with mexi, im gonna plan a more formal thing savin a date and heading there with like u and barnow and stuff for a poker tourney

i didnt do any table games, im not sure of the whole process in doing it yet lol, and didnt have enough cash and was more scoutin for the night

i was down $10 from nickel and quarter slots
put another $10 down on a 2:1 odds on roulette and won making me even
lost $30 at another roulette table
i was gonna call it quits b4 i lost more lol, but i figured wth and put $5 in a penny slot, and in my 3rd spin (each spin bein the min of 25 credits) i hit some super bonus thing, got like 30 free spins with multipliers out the *** and won $25 from a 25 cent pull. that most likely means if I had did the max bet of 2.50 i woulda won $250 lol, since it was 100x what I put it in the end. so then i stopped, and walked out like -$10, which isnt bad at all considering it was my first time and down $30 at one point

Trufax. I never downloaded the codeset, but after failing with Pika+, I used Jiggs and Zelda and was able to do decently well vs. Evan, who's actually into the game. B+ is definitely fun, but pulling off combos is so ridiculously easy..... you just kinda spam what you'd expect to work, and it's pretty much guaranteed to since practically everything combos into everything..... @.@

Brawl+ is easy. The wbr thinks they are adding depth to making moves easier to link when all they are doing is making the game more easier to play. I still like it over vbrawl but yea it is easy. Espcially with chars like squirtle and zelda.

What don't you understand? I play the game I love and enjoy. I played Brawl+ when it was good and enjoyed it and quit when it became crap, its not a hard concept. I have gotten dead last and it doesn't take away from the passion I get from playing the game of my choice.
