Don't worry, Trela. Everyone ranked 4-10 in Texas is more or less a novelty in the national perspective.
@DMG: No juans. Everyone at Sync's place only got like 4-5 hours of sleep.
@Dojo: Let's blame Meta Knight for the pessimism. It's much easier that way.

Naw...hobo proved thats not the case. Jerm basically had mike and blew it...and trela was just unlucky. Jerm also did good at Apex, and while trela didn't, he'll get another chance at mlg dallas.Don't worry, Trela. Everyone ranked 4-10 in Texas is more or less a novelty in the national perspective.

Almost doesn't count, Gnes (only in horseshoes and grenades). All HOBO did was reinforce the novelty. This doesn't, by any means, mean I have no faith in our players. I think Texas is absolutely incredible. Jerm and Trela both took mikeHaze to the last game in a set, which is insanely impressive. I wouldn't be surprised if the result is different the next time those guys play each other at all.
However, the point I'm getting at is that if players from outside of our state are aware of any player that's not named "Gnes", "Razer", or "Dojo", it's because of that novelty factor.

yah, i was convinced with my experiment. I didn't feel like playing more so as I wanted to test out something. My gf was in town from College station.
Not to take anything away from jerm. He beat me so GOOD! Jerm's playstyle pretty safe. He'll be winning tournaments like trela any moment now.
