The run and gun nair or uair game seems like a stronger game than falcon's gentleman as it has poor shieldstun and he can be easily pushed back due to his awful traction. The gentleman is now nothing as it was in previous games and gets outclassed by Falco's jab and Weegee's jab. I don't use Falco and Snake, but the one time I decided to do something different (play as Marth), snake could not camp as well since I was catching his nades and responding rather quickly to all his camping efforts and clipped his recovery. Same goes for falco, well except for catching nades. Many of Snake's and Falco's moves are punishable. Marth's main weakness is that unless tipped, he cannot kill and his subpar to average recovery. SInce Marth relies heavily on punishment and gimps, he fares badly against MK as MK does not have unpunishable, but close to unpunishable attacks and can gimp Marth himself. He can even kill as a bonus.

No, please stop talking. Falcon's jab is quite literally his best move, and most other characters would probably rather have it instead of what they have now.

It really is not. Yes I agree that it is his fastest attack, but really he has more options as his uair, his anti air but rarely utilized utilt, and nair. This especially holds true against people who can outrange the jab on BF, DP, RC and other places with platforms or moving stages that are legal. I played falcon in brawl for years, it was not a good feeling losing people who outranged the gentleman, but whatever.

Falcon's jab when used properly is REALLY annoying to deal with. It's really a shame that the rest of his moveset is sub par because most of his attributes are really quite good.

Yeah you were definitely playing Falcon wrong lmao. The only character that can overwhelm opponents with speed in this game is Metaknight, that's why he's the best. Captain Falcon can't overwhelm **** because of Brawl's physics. Falcon works best when he's whittling the opponent down with jabs and grabs. If you try and overwhelm someone you're just doing to get destroyed.

The only disappointing thing I had about my last NJ trip was the horrendous set I had against nickriddle (we both hated it though, so our <3 only grew fonder) . Maybe yoshi mu johns from a week later, but I wasn't the only victim that day.

But in all seriousness though, I've yet to have a training partner in this game that hasn't conceded Marth's amazing, eventually. haha. The only minor exception has been a Donkey Kong player.
