3 out of the top 8 players at squat were West Australian, with our two top ranked players, along with many other players who are at the same level of the perthians who made top 8, not attending.

How are you so ignorant? 25 players? We've had 30+ player tournies in Perth, don't think many of us would of bothered to travel for squat if the afore mentioned was actually true. Get your facts straight buddy lol.

I can't be bothered replying any more, plus unreon asked nicely that we keep this **** out of his thread, but come to EI3 later this year where the BEST player in Australia and the only player to ever take a tournament set off of him will be waiting, along with more then enough good players to keep you entertained.

Dan's got a pretty mad mixup with Danku, and Gadou is great for combos, but his normals just suck. If they boost his normals, he's easily a good character. They have to be careful, though. God tier Dan is bad for pubilicity and the Dan scene.

Kuroda can play Q cause he can play every character at a high level, doesn't change the fact that Q is terrible =P

For tournaments, though, he always plays Q. If he wanted to show off, he'd go Hugo or Sean (I've seen him win games with Sean, its great). If he wanted to win all the time, he'd go Chun. But he goes Q. It doesn't say Q is good, it says Q is so bad-*** that Kuroda likes him. In fact, its even been rumoured by SKill that the man under the mask is actually Kuroda hmself (I can't tell if he was joking or not. ). Do you want some teenage girl ninja, or do you want Kuroda?

And that's why Q should be in.

I heard from some one who owns a few sf4 cabinets that ssf4 will be released as a software update for arcade machines.

Could be complete bs and I'm too lazy to google it but has any one else heard of this development, cos it's new to me.

Oh and Pete I'll have to play you arcade some time, I'd like to see how much better you've gotten from your training lol. I'm a lot better now, but haven't really touched sf much since squat.

I work at Playtime Entertainment (An arcade in Melbourne) and have been chatting with my boss about SSF4 and the upgrade. From what we hear it will be a simple software upgrade and add-on cabinet art like they did for Tekken 6 and Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion.

Couldn't agree with you more, Redact.
Again, I work in an arcade and Street Fighter 3rd Strike, X-men vs Street Fighter and Tekken 5 still bring in plenty of revenue. Hell, if i get bored playing SF4 i just have to jump on 3rd Strike and odds are I'll get a challenger within 20 mins. The tourney scene is alive for anyone looking for it. SRK and Ozhadou have tournament listings everywhere, so you can always find something. And there will always be people wanting to play the original SF4 just because. Hell, people still play Mario Kart 64 in a competitive nature.

Well the console is an entirely new game, as opposed to originally intending to be all DLC. And like I said, that's what I've heard. My sources could be wrong. Hope not. New cabinets are hella expensive.

Edit: Don't know if you guys have seen this, but its screens of a kunai dagger in SSF4. Ibuki is pretty much confirmed. =D

Blanka's new one is odd. Has an AA version and a version that hits EVERYTHING ON THE GROUND. Its Gule's ultra input 3 punches for AA and 3 kicks for grounded. Grounded version, Blanka screams, pounds his fists into the floor and makes a big shockwave of electricity. AA, Blanka learned Thunder! =D

B) Ultra 2's do less damage.
