yes i know Hal was made in 1980, BUT kirby wasn't made until 1992, the same year Hal became a second-party developer. plus clearly the first Kirby game, Kirby's Dream Land for the Gameboy, was published by Nintendo.

kirby was never third-party. he's always been second party

'92 was the year Kirby was released and Hal became a part of Nintendo, but it was a few months after the release of Kirby. You're right about Nintendo having published Kirby's Dream Land though, I had been under the impression it was Hal game developed for Nintendo and that changed subsequently.


Anyway, as far as Sonic goes, hopefully Sonic Rush Adventure is gonna be fun. Rush was a blast! God knows Sonic Team needs to redeem themselves console-wise. Sonic Heroes sent the franchise down a bumpy roooooad =(

What are you sayign? Heroes Rocked! I say it was Shadow that did it. Shadow does it all.

heroes was the most disgustin piece of dung i've ever played....

right after playing it i wanted to stab my brain so that i could forget what i had just played....

Screwed up! Now I didn't particulary enjoy Team Chaotix's levels, but it did make the game more unique. If they could make Heroes, with better Graphics, CutScenes, Story, Teams, Levels, Characters, and GamePlay, it would be Sonics best 3D outing EVER

Heroes wasn't THAT bad. I know it had flaws, but I think it was fun at some points. Not that I would change it for, say, Battalion Wars. Battalion Wars is kickass, but a little short.
F-ZERO GX will rock your world. If you don't have it, and have some spare bucks, get it. Now.

I could get it for free, but I really can't get into racing games. Except Excite Truck and Mario Kart, they kick butt.

Man, Sonic Heros was crap, (shadow was even more crap,)Sonic should stay 2D, and Shadow should died.
F-ZERO GX did rock, it's so **** fast.

if you look at what DK is standing on, you'll see a pokeball...although it was pretty obvious that there'd be one.

Next to Diddy Kong Racing, Mario Kart 64, and Mario Kart DS YES! F-Zero X and GX pwn, even if it has the ever lame Black Shadow, or the Black Loaner as I'll start calling him as of this moment. :)

In my mind, Sonic Heroes could've easily been the best of the 3D Sonics. Given the level design, themes, and gameplay, there was a good mix of classic and new designs that came together very well and reflected Sonic better in 3D than any of the other games. The only things plaguing the game were the horrible camera and the "landing-mechanic" which was way too wonky and made it too easy to fall off of cliffs. If Sonic Team had just spent some more time to work on the camera and tighten up the controls a little bit, Sonic Heroes would be a great game. But, as it stands now, it's just a good game in my opinion.

Sonic Heroes was a turn in the right direction. What's sad is that it was followed by Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic 2006 (X360/PS3), Sonic Rivals, and Sonic Riders, all which did nothing to help the franchise, but did plenty to hamper it.

Sonic and the Secret Rings is one of my favorite games so far this year. It's another step in the right direction, and it has flaws just like Heroes did (though not nearly as potentially game-breaking). Sega said they'd take a break from Sonic for a while (regardless of their work on Mario and Sonic in the Olympic Games), so hopefully their next iteration of the series, in 3D, is on Wii and follows an improved SSR design.

seriously, is the smashbros site working for anyone else? its down for me, says the server is missing.
as for the update, i hope for and old character as well, there are only 5 more melee starters left to be confirmed.

i was gonna fake an update to trick evryone but seein as how u can see the site theres no point,

i cant get into my inbox for some reason, is there a problem with smashboards?

after looking at smashville and the other stages they seem quite larger then melee's

i know we only seen a small amount of them but so far the small stages like YI seem muvh larger then their melle counterpart

maybe bowser is just too big:laugh:

Accually I didn't notice that, It seems about the same to me.
