Edit:And I heard the tourney was single elimination which makes me sad.
Edit2:It would be cool if I saw you in the finals Forward but with Phillipe (I think that's AZenith's name) going to El Con as well I probably won't make it. But if I place second I get a Nintendo plushie of my choice!

Business side:
I got my resume out to a lot of cool companies like 2k, Insomniac, Factor 5, Crytek, Level 5, ID, Lucasarts, etc. People there were awesome and I should, if not I will be kicking myself hard core, get an internship or job somewhere over the summer.

Gaming side:
There weren't a lot of hands on things. I played SingStar, and got the best score on Don't Fear the Reaper (or w/e the title is). I also got to play Brawl for the first time... and probably the last in a long time. I didn't like it much at all!

Other:
San Fran. was expensive. California is expensive. And after being in CA for so long, all I can say is...







... AZ too good.

Since I got three other roommates now and I don't want them to feel uncomfortable about people they don't know digging in our cabinets I am going to put the food and drinks you guys can have for the tourney on the kitchen counter, so please don't go digging in cabinets (or my minifridge) for food anymore, since the food and drinks for ya'll will be on the counter.

This is Val, owner of Play N Trade in Chandler. We're back with some exciting Smash events coming your way.

We're planning a March 9, Sunday Midnight release of Brawl. What does it mean for you? First of all,

Everyone who pre-orders Brawl from us will receive it at MIDNIGHT, March 9th. and get 5% off the cost. Assuming Nintendo does not change the date again. Why preorder from us? How about some ASU, UAT, Collins math.

$48.99 (base price) - $5 (down preorder) = $53.99 - (5% off) = $51.29

Now, on to the best part. During this time we're hosting a 12 hour SmashFEST. This will consist of

SSB64, SSBM, & ofcourse SSBB Tournaments.

We have not decided if these will be Single or double, but I need your opinions.

The prizes will be very cool. Nintendo Wii, copies of Brawl, swag.

Since it takes place from 6pm-6am, we've looking into providing food and drinks. Also, perhaps some discounts with local restuarants.

Fee will probably be in the range of $20 per person.

Let me know how and/or what I should do to get things to run smoothly. Our previous tourneys went very well.

We'll probably get somthing finalized within a week. Thanks.

I actually have a DVD recorder which I was planning on using to record matches on DVD format, we can use that instead.
