Hey, I have a question about wavedashing with Peach. Sometimes while wavedashing a lot, I insta-float then fall instead of wavedashing (I'll post a vid soon probably..maybe..) Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

Also, is DI-ing up and towards marth a good way to escape his chain grab?
You're holding the jump button too long.
and
In general, no.

Di Marth's Grab Down And Away. Most Marth Players Will Dash Attack > F-air > F-air > To Whatever After This Which Will Give You More Damage Than The Chain Grab.

So It's Situational.. I Would Only Try To Escape The Chain Grab If I Know I Can Come Back To The Stage.

Also, You'd Want To Keep Watch On Your Percentage. If Your Percentage Is Too Low, Di'ing Away Would Be A Huge Mistake. (it Put's U In Tipper Range)

Dashing is much more practical than wavedashing with Peach

Also Armada should come to the States otherwise I don't really give a poop if he disagrees with me or not

>_> Armada disagrees via using the wavedash effectively, not verbally lol.

I'm also not saying wavedash > dashing with peach, but wavedashing is still useful in positioning and from shield. It's useful to have lots of options available.

I'm sure my tournament record would improve a lot if I wavedashed with Peach.
Yea it's great that you play peach without wavedashing, but it's beside the point whether you can or cannot win without wavedash. <_< Everyone have their own styles anyway, but saying peach's wavedash is useless just because you prefer to dash with peach doesn't make it useless, it's opinion. <_> Bowser's wavedash is more useless cause his jump is so slow, making his wd to come out really slow. I don't see how it's hurtful to someone's game if they wavedash a little out of shield to better position themselves or use it to feint occasionally, for example.

I always laugh at the horrible Peach players that wavedash around incessantly
Kay, so what makes you think wavedashing with peach equals a bad player? <_> Cause good players don't wavedash incessantly, at least they shouldn't. PC wavedashes, armada wavedashes, many peaches wavedash.

I like to laugh at horrible peaches in general too. :p (or if they show promise and motivation to get better, I try to help them out) But I often look at their overall performance and things than just if they wavedash or not. <_>

So Cort, I heard this "Zombie" looking turnip is supposedly the most powerful turnip. I don't really know, since I don't play Melee much. Is this really true?

No, it's best if you let that turnip hit you as it resets your damage to 0%.

JFox, check first post. Also hope the Marth is horrible, that helps a lot.

Cort, have you ever used Corneria as a Fox counterpick? For some reason, I kept counterpicking Corneria against Foxs and I only lost one match there. Any idea why Corneria works? I think it might be that I camp the back of the ship.
