Honestly, if you sit at the back of the ship and literally NEVER go up there, I could see it being pretty good for peach. Theres not really enough room for him to laser camp you, the ceiling isn't terribly terrible except on the top wing of the ship. Also, isn't it true that you can't get infinite shined on that wall?

Honestly the stage dimensions might not be the best, but it def helps to not get laser camped. The problem is that I'm not sure I care to play THAT GAY that I never go to the top area...

Yeah, and the moment you eat a laser a Fox/Falco can camp the living bajeesus out of you and run circles around you and the level and you're completely screwed.

Corneria is banned in CT tournaments.

The ceiling on Corneria is REALLY low. The thruster isn't as bad as the fin, but the distance from stage to blastline is still shorter than on PS.

Cort- tell me how you typically tech chase on platforms.

Here's a scenario- Uthrow cg fox (~40%) in the middle of dreamland, the person obviously starts to DI to a platform. Now you uthrow and he is ready to tech on the platform. How do you typically go about tech chasing? In addition, could you list some possible tech chase options, and explain why you choose the one you do?

Thanks.

Follow their tech and uair into combo if they're not meanies and cc it. <.< Nair/fair if I wanna kill or can't get uair and anti-cc. DJL to dsmash/grab/dash attack would be nice to be able to do consistently though. ^^

for the Nair across the platform guarteed hit thing, you need to start it kind of early. so by the time it would have hit, the nair would be weakened.

no you can cover every option except tech roll away with the strong nair, the only way it would be a weak nair is if they tech rolled away
Do what eggm does and jump, double jump into up-tilt .

/joke

Why can't you cover tech roll? I mean if you up-throw can't you wait for the tech then nair in that direction?

*shrugs*

God, M2k can I have your phone number? I think I'm in love that big sexy brain of yours.

I'm def gonna use m2k's strategy, unless they are a spacey at low percent, in which case I will use waveland/DJL dsmash.

Thanks Cort, you're the best! LOL (Thanks peanut gallery =P)

double post but evs

I was wondering what you guys think is the best thing to do while your opponent is invincible after they come back from losing a stock. I know some peach's like to float outside the stage boundaries with a turnip, but this seems to be dangerous vs a lot of good opponents that have the ability to control space well (especially good marths). Then there is the PC trick where you sit in the light shield on a platform, but I just can't seem to get into that one. Some people roll around and just try to avoid the hits, but this is harder with peach than most characters.

So what's the best thing to do?

What's the problem with the lightshield thing?
An easy way to do it: Jump onto the platform, roll to the edge of the platform and start holding Z during the roll lag. Now you will be on the edge of the platform with a lightshield. If you don't want to be on the edge of it you could waveland on and start holding Z during the waveland lag or during the lag of a spot-dodge or something.
