you mean, they could charge up their FSmash or something like that, so that they hit while the vincibille lag frames after the spoddodge ?

the best way to beat marths it to ban YS...
and counterpick with FD or dreamland...

or... you can pick up sheik... but that is frowned upon...

don't get me wrong... i don't have a secondary that i have confidence in... so if i'm against marth on YS...
i still use peach... and i usually ban battlefield anyway... i know it's possible... but it's uncomfortable...
i just try to keep in mind that quick kills are just as easy for peach as they are for marth...
i know Fthrows and Fairs and of coarse Dsmashing kill fast on YS...

yes, if I would play that Matchup a little bit better, i surely won't ban YS, because of my describted edgeguard possibillity u haven't got on Final for example !

I was always under the impression that FD is a bad stage for Peach when playing against Marth, no?

I would assume most people pick Mute or Brinstar, no? They both seem to be really lousy for his type of recovery. What about battlefield? I know a lot of other characters tend to ban that on Marth. Does Peach gain any advantage here against him?

hmm not really the stage is only mid-wide and the platforms are perfect for marth

so i cp mute city and it works kinda well though
but only in little friendly matches and our monthly tournaments on bigger tournaments i take sheik an ban yS .. but maybe I change my oppinion with some more training i can do this for sure !

the problem is, there aren't really good marth players here in berlin to play with .. only freeplay on bigger tournaments are something to improove my skills on that matchup ^^

I dunno, I don't mind FD in the marth matchup. Platforms really help him a lot more than they help you - simplifies things to just make them go away.

Admittedly, I'd prefer dreamland (platforms or no), but still.

Or just go sheik. That works, too.

Cort, how come you pull so few Mr. Saturns, Grandfather turnips, Bob-ombs and Beamswords? Do you just suck that much? ;)

i think what pritch said makes a lot of sense...
(marth's Fthrow chain grabs are way gay on FD...)
marths are way better with platforms than i am...
and i don't really play on the common peach counterpick stages...
i need to...

on bigger tournaments i take sheik an ban yS ..
funny how a strategy on the peach boards is to pick a different character... haha

You beat Kirby with bairs, turnips, and downsmash.

If he's upbing, dash dance near the edge and push with the dash attack (very weak as to hit with the edge to push him out horizontally) and then he'll die because he can't make it forward

that's a very legit anwer and though i don' t play against kirbys ever...
that sounds about right...
but to be honest...
i don't think that he was intending on anyone taking his question seriously...
i'm sure he was just randomly babbling about kirby, like he always is...

I have a few marth questions...

If possible, how can I get out of a marth fairing me all the way across final destination at low percentages? like what direct should I DI?

Secondly I have no idea how to approach a nair/fair happy marth...they always swat my turnips away and hit me easily. The most i can do is shield grab...

1. you could DI up I think and than do a NAir would be good or if you have a turnip -> drop it and then do NAir, it should work

as approach, let him come sheild->WDoutofshield->grab
if he grabs or fsmashes, do spotdodge and then downsmash.

peach is a very defensive character i think, so you dont really have to approach.
i doesn't that much and it works very well. ^^

Scenerio: 3 mins left, marth has 2 stocks, i have 1 stock; he camps so time will run out, what do i do then?

And i need some more advance tactics in defending other than grabbing.

i used to do that with falco's lazers...
i would just stop lazering to cancel out the johns...
haha

but with peach, when someone says that all i do is downsmash...
i show them what it's REALLY like when all i do is downsmash...
haha

I'll take a potato chip....and eat it!!!
Yo Slik....just do what Shakugan did to Toushi. He told Toushi that all he could do to attack was Downsmash. Then Shakugan played as another character. Toushi got the point, lol. I think that hurts their pride a bit more when they experience it for themselves.

p.s.- If you wanna keep from gettting ***** by Marth...stay AWAY from Cactuar's Marth....and his Fox. They are EVIL!!!!

nobody has given me any advice on what i asked yet...

*sighs*
honestly...
i have similar questions...
like...
i'm getting better at the marth match up...
but i still get faird across the stage...
i try to DI down and away (like i'm told to do against falcon) but it's not working...

and recovering passed a smart marth is extremely difficult for me...
and my approaching marth becomes very predictable...
but i don't wanna be reliant on defending...
