Yesterday I noticed when I was getting combo'd ( >_> ) that I would more often than not try to wiggle out and Nair to interrupt the combo. I also noticed that this doesn't work so well a lot of the time. Should I concentrate more on DI? Or both?

And do you have any thoughts on my Peach? you only played it like twice I think. You can say no. ha.
Sorry, I forgot about this amongst all the spammy posts.

I usually don't wiggle out because nairing does so automatically (I think?) I mash A as fast as I can instead. You should always concentrate on DIing out of combos rather than relying on nairing out, because a smart player will know how to combo Peach with very very little probability of the Peach nairing out.

I enjoyed playing you, but you still have a lot of work to do. >_<

Good **** Icedshadow. Really good ****.

Seriously. That's a quality 1st post right there. New members could learn something from you.
Exactly... this is why my sig says:

''Seriously Smashboards should put a 3-month probation period where a new member can't make a new thread and is limited to 1 post per day.''

I started posting crap since day 1 and look how messed I am now...

:lick: zomg I'm chewing my own eye... I'm crazy lol!

I didn't know that mashing A did the same thing. huh. I need to work on DI.

lol tell me about it.
I did manage to do a lot better vs. decent foxes than last tournament, though.

Hey Cort, you think your stopping by NY anytime soon? If not then thats ok too, see ya at Pound 3!
Not sure, but I will try my best to make it to Pound 3.
Cort, I never thought/tried it but how useful is Peach's boost grab? like is it of any use?
I don't think any boost grab is useful >_>
Can I have some Young Link tips? Thanks...
I barely have any experience in the matchup, but I only look out for a few things from experience:

Watch out for bombs. Peach can jab them away (or catch them). Other than that, I really have no idea what to do. If you can, don't make it such a priority to chase after camping YLinks, make them come to you instead.

Uh, vidjo played fairly poorly during that match in general, but Plank did play somewhat more patiently than he usually does against Peach, which is the best way to play against her.

I've also come up with new tactics to get around Sheik's ccing your dsmash in order to go to the other end of the stage which I can't wait to use against Jon.

What about...d-tilt to jump behind them to nair? The CC'd d-tilt would lead to less height gain and thus easier to hit them with the nair?

Hehe, those would all work. But the point is, the Sheik usually just waits for the sound of dsmash then lets go of down. So there's a number of things you could attempt.

How much trouble can Mid tier give to Peach?
Every mid tier besides ICs give Peach an annoying time <_< Atleast, from my experience... I've always had trouble vs Falcons, the Marios, I've yet to take a set from Wes' Samus (last time we played was in like, February though), I only went ~ even with HugS in friendlies at SCC, I recently lost to Green Mario, and Phish-it basically forfeited a winning set vs me with his Ganon. >_>
General tips against Doc?

I'm having trouble against him recently

Ironic avatar, I know.
Doc... I have barely any experience vs Doc. And PC tends to beat my Peach with his Doc =.= He's very good at landing the dthrow -> fair killer no matter where I DI. There were some edge gaurding tips against Doc posted at the very beginning of this topic, though.

i find that against doc, u should camp a bit more because pill spam is annoying. i never saw doc as a problem tho because he' fairly comboable due to weighing so much and having the worst recovery in the game

pc's doc is a beast. beat my pichu in crews :(

I think what you really mean is that you cant have a fun style of play and win versus most midtiers... Samus, jiggs, mario, doc, and ganon all have incredibly boring styles of play needed to win =/ I wouldnt say they give peach trouble though... I'd even say that she has an advantage in each matchup, however slight. My best experience aside from random friendlies with HuGs and TheKing, my best experience is Hyuga and Watty for Samus and jiggs and I 2 stocked both in tournament sets. I'm sure Wes would be... far worse <_<

And I dont care which ganon is playing (minus tipman) but played right peach can control a match, but it has to be consistent like a **** computer program to do it right, any try to be different or tricky will probably result in 2 to 3 hits which is like 200 percent <_<;

PC has the best doc in the US.
Indeed.
How do I beat Xelic in dittos?
I donno, playing Xelic is like playing myself. He plays VERY similarly to how I play, it's scary. I loved playing him in Peach dittos.
yeah she does its quite simple:

turnip turnip turnip turnip turnip turnip turnip aerial turnip turnip turnip turnip turnip turnip turnip aerial turnip turnip turnip turnip turnip turnip aerial.
Exactly... turnips are key in this matchup. So are random aerials.
Bull****.

No johns, Peach isn't THAT good and you can't complain unless you're the Ice Climbers.
