then i came across cort's vids and i was in awe... not gonna say anyone's the best, but dang it really opened up my eyes

Old Days: MikeG was teh best nuff said. Vidjo was not that great, he had his tricks and all but he wasnt the best.

Nowdays: MikeG gone, vidjo still the same... Cort, on the other hand, has proved he's one of the few new peachs that do great and imo he is the best in the US country as of now (PR is still not a state yet so Im not im not included xD).

Oh and btw playing smart is not to limit yourself in the game (not using some adv. techs). I consider myself a really smart player and I use all adv. techs.

I forget where's where, but i'd be at cornell or some **** in a heartbeat if I could get in, that way it'd be like Ivy League College and Ivy League Smash.

Georgia Tech is cool and all, but i'd be lying if I said I didnt miss playing lambchops and green mario daily, and shizwiz and speedn at least once or twice a month.

In late August this year my friend and I road tripped to Mass and while there had the opportunity of playing with KDJ. A group of us lost to him in a crew battle with about 64 of our stocks vs his four with him drinking alcohol after each win go figure! In friendlies and MMs I would take two stocks or so against his Marth but when crew battle time comes he goes into Godmode and it is near impossible to lay more than thirty percent on him.

He also did impart some knowledge and valuable opinions such as the Wii having different frame rates than the GC which he adjusts very well to, and the tier list exists because life is not fair and everyone has their talents, and most interesting of all KDJ admitted that Ken's Marth is better than M2K's. I believe it's valid considering he is a professional and has played and defeated them both convincingly in tournament sets if not finals at their last meetings.

He also invented a radically new way of playing Falcon that will push him to the top of the tier list but that's up to him to reveal.

Really n00b question, but what's the best way to get out of fox's waveshine? I thought the only thing you could really do was DI down, but I saw someone hit a dsmash on a fox when he used it one time. Was this because the fox messed up the wave shine or something? Thanks

Unless I'm mistaken that's definitely because the fox messed up. I don't think you can get off a dsmash if the fox is doing the waveshines correctly.

LOL @ DIing down

You can hold AWAY (aka the way Fox is sending you with the shine), or try smashing the control stick away as you get hit for even more distance.

Though, doing so with Peach against good Foxes doesn't do anything anyway since she's so easy to combo from shines.

Thanks, well I heard that if you DI down the fox could possibly wavedash past you and miss, thought it definitely did not sound like too good of an idea.

Fox is arguably the best character in general, and it's reflected a lot in teams as well.

There are now 2 characters he can shine spike and randomly usmash. He's a killing MACHINE in teams.

Peach does an excellent job of being annoying and keeping stock, as well as her capability of saving Fox, camping her shield, nairing out of shield, not getting ***** by grab combos (since grabbing is OFTEN times punished in teams), dsmashing TWO other players, thus racking up a lot of damage for Fox to finish off with usmashes.

They're a match made in heaven.

any suggestions for teaming with samus? i'm teaming with silva at vls and i'm not sure exactly how to go about it. both characters are great at keeping stock and spamming projectiles, but who should "go for the kill" so to speak?

I teamed with KillaOR at OC2 and we got 9th. We almost beat Taj/Forward, who at the time were the only people to beat Ken/Isai in a set. I think the videos are up on youtube somewhere. KillaOR was very very rest happy in teams, cause punishing it is often too hard if he misses... just check out those videos, look em up.

I donno, personally I like Kira more than L, but PC is more of a Kira than me and he was in the first slot (Red) so I had to take 2nd (Blue) and also be L.
