What do you get in PAL standardized melee. If it is the standard I would probably rather play brawl....and thats saying alot. I'd rather play Metaknight and Snake then Puff and Peach....I hate those 2(no offense they just are not fun to play at all). Don't get me wrong Genesis was amazing but seeing that match all the time.....nah to much gay stuff though after awhile. The thought of floaty finals in melee all the time makes me wanna throw up...

in a years time things will pan out the same as they do in brawl. Just how Finals are MK vs MK or MK vs snake they will be Puff vs Puff and Puff vs Peach. They have no losing match-ups in PAL. Not even upsets like Ganon or Doc LOL.

I mean you could argue it's better because it is better for YOUR character (Either Peach/Puff players or characters that get ***** by Fox, Falco, Marth, Especially Sheik)all you want the fact is PAL is pretty much doomed to end up extremely one sided in terms of competitive development Even though its suppose to bring balance it's nerfing setup just cannot ever do that.. I mean there are an overwhelming amount of Peach players compared to the ratio in the USA. However you could argue that pride is pretty much the only reason there are not more puffs players. Because we as overall say Fun>winning is the main reason why there aren't far more Puffs and probably the reason why Sheik main's died off... unlike Brawl(Bawls) where there are millions of MK players because everyone just wants to win. So yeah....LOL @ Arcnatural not closing this thread.....this thread is ghey.....

okay so I edited this because I noticed Mango is back so I don't have to troll a much in his place anymore. I honeslty Can't say i'm against a Puff Ban. However if PAL is going to be the standard then both Puff and Peach should not be banned. Then I'd like to see how things pan out.

Peach's worse MU's aren't as bad and Everyone that does bad against Sheik has a slightly easier time. Sheik nerf is the only good one.(says the Marth player) Aside from that it's terrible. And results of PAL tournaments show it didn't help bottom, low, & some mid tiers so it was pointless. NERFING is gay but more importantly not the answer. It's like trying to balance the NBA by giving all black players 25 pound ankle weights.....

Uh...I play Marth. I'd say 80% of the smash community in North America plays Fox, Falco, Marth, Ganon, or Sheik. We have enough to deal with in NTSC. The last thing we need are de-buffs.

What Sheiks are you talking about? Mew2King didn't play. The rest of the crew was Mango, SS, Luigi Ka-Master, Jman, Zhu, Dr. Peepee, and Hax. I see no Sheiks. Unless you're referring to Europe's crew, but they probably would have preferred PAL anyway, even if it is technically advantageous for their two Sheiks (Amsah, Over, I think that was it) to have the gay D-throw.

Also, not having Calle W does not compensate for USA not using Hungrybox, Mew2King. I don't really buy the "we didn't have one player" john. USA didn't have (or get to use) arguably their 2nd and 3rd best players (by tournament results).

I called the great because they are great & overall better than ours. I said Europe has alot of peaches compared to like 3 over here LOL! I stated that the end result of PAL is destined to be puff followed by peach regardless of Armada or Mango's existence. Trust me American Peach's know how to **** up Falcons even the best of them lol. Of course without Mute City there could be problems. I don't want to play puff or Peach. PAL marth isn't worth playing, Sheik is dull for me to play NTSC or PAL, Fox is to fast for my fingers to play him well & his power is less as well as his Recovery. So not worth it. Falco is my last option if PAL became Standard but I would get tired of Spawning at kill %. So without If PAL is standard then I'd probably not play Melee. . Nothing personal but I need my NTSC Marth.
