wow so i got an email from uni saying bl dude we decided to cancel one of your enrolled courses for no apparent reason so go find another one to enrol in

im pretty sure like what EA said, the battery is what keeps the save file there. since those batteries have a limited lifespan, apparently all the old gameboy games are starting to lose their save files. i guess you COULD open it up and replace the battery, but yeah, your file would be gone. dunno how you would be able to safely open and then reseal the cartridge afterwards though.

Edit: Yeah I remember when my oracle of ages/seasons games died. I was pretty devastated.

well if these lan events are happening on the thursday and friday before SMASH then i wont be able to stay the nights on account of roulette training. however on sat night you guys can come over my place after SMASH if you guys want and stay till monday.

If someone drives you could all bring your laptops and stuff and during sat someone can help me buy a **** router.

It will be a normal tourney at normal place. It hasn't even been confirmed yet. I will get it booked ASAP.

Yes Scoot we still have tourneys. They are generally going to be monthlies but we missed last month because everyone had exams etc etc.

Foxeh it's at like 12:30. I will have to get back to you on the exact details depending on certain things. I will make a post here later tonight letting you know what's going on.

Actually that's a good point. Foxy if you want to drive, be at my place by 11:30. If you want to catch the train, you'll need to be here at like 10:45 or some **** so we can get the 11 o'clock train lol.

The meet will go for several hours until mum freaks the **** out, kicks everyone out and then kills me.

Ted, that was kinda harsh on Sol. We should be encouraging players (without sarcasm) to join the Sydney scene imo. He only reacted that way because of what Toki said, and you know how people can be offended by what he says, even if those words weren't meant to be.

Anyway, Sol's pretty good imo. From what I know, he'd dominate the amateur bracket, and maybe get in the top 3. But that's just what I think. You can ask Scoot regarding his opinion (although that's based on wifi).

Edit: also, why do you appear on there only after Toki has a disagreement with someone? It's like Toki summons you lol.

to be fair scoot consistently overrates new players (no hate just something i noticed), in any case it is pointless to try and predict how someone will do before their first tournament.
