lol @ everyone ignoring Lux. :p

Lux did you know you are EA's hero? He used to use "DIE!" like Lain, then I suggested "DIE?" because he wasn't as good and his opponent's death was questionable, but now he is often seen playing with the "Lux" tag.

Oh I just remembered. So I need a memory card in order to fully enjoy Melee. I tried without for a while, but the lack of a Link who isn't as old was all too much to bare. Also, the cpu's suck.

Too sick to do anything for awhile.

Also, I'm going to need confirmation on who I'm driving to QLD. Atm I'm assuming it'll be me, Gords, EA, Ted and one other.

lol scoot makes a good point.

I wonder if EA has the same problem? He was the third giant after all, it would make sense.
It was actually my idea to go Ice Skating. I love it, never had a skate size problem.

Ricky dw, I'll teach you how to skate, it's mad fun once you're used to it. :3

btw guise, false alarm on the wiimote, I found it.

What about the condom? Lol

Also Bryte. I would check to see if we can actually drive to qld and that there are no road closures that gets in the way. Maybe do this about a week or sp before we go just so we can be prepared. I don't think there will be much a problem though. Also what dates are you planning to drive up and back?

sigh gords, im sure the rest of us who are 13 found that funny as well.

So, boys and gurls who're interested in going ice skating with us, we have basically 3 options, all with their pros and cons:

Blacktown Ice Arena
8 First Ave, Blacktown
- Closest to public transport, literally 1min walk from trains/buses.
- Closest to food options, at least 3 different maccas within 4min walk, close to blacktown rsl, close to westpoint.
- Prices/Sessions unknown; no website. It does have a skate hire service, though.
- Super ghetto venue, the worst actual rink of the 3, known to have ice generator issues.

Penrith Ice Palace (http://www.penrithicepalace.com.au/)
7 Patty's Place, Jamisontown
- Not close to trains (40min walk), however there is a high density of buses in the area.
- Nowhere near any food as far as I can tell, I think there is a petrol station nearby though.
- Daily 10:00-1:30 and 2:00-5:00 sessions. Students $16, Adults $18, skate hire included.
- Only one of the three I have not been to, but based on pics from the website it looks decent enough.

Sydney Ice Arena (http://www.sydneyicearena.com.au/)
11 Solent Circuit, Baulkham Hills
- Least accessible by public transport, buses rare, trains ng.
- However, it's the closest by car to the majority of western***s. Practically next door to Patv.
- Short walk to food options, including several restaurants (one of which is lakeside).
- Daily 10:30-12:30 and 1:00-3:00 sessions. Students $16, Adults $18, skate hire included.
- Advertises itself as "Australia's Premier Ice Skating Facility," and on some level I agree; it's easily the best ice arena I've ever been to.

I talked to Ted a bit, we both would prefer to go sometime next week if possible. Personally I'd much prefer option 3 if we have enough willing drivers, even though the sessions are a bit shorter the overall experience is so much better, and the timing of the sessions make it ideal for us to do both with a short lunchbreak in between if we want to do that. Otherwise I'd say option 1 for the amazing convenience

Ultimately it's a choice between quality and convenience, so what do you boys think?

ok well i have been to all three and blacktown is super bad.

i used to go regularly with mates to penrith ice palace and yes we walked the 40minutes there since until one of us got old enough to drive. we also walked the 1hr back.
reason it took so long to get back is because you couldstay from 10-5pm so we were extreely tired afterwards. dont know if they still allow this but we use to get both sessions for the about $15. according to EA its now $16 which isnt bad increase for over 3 yrs. food is only about a 20min or so walk from the ice rink. however there is a canteen in the rink

Sydney is a rgreat venue allthough sessions are a bit shorter and it can get a lot more crowded than penrith especcailly now since school holidays

im free tuesday and wednesday

So yeah, atm because we have no driver, Baulkham Hills seems out of the question. However, Ted said his mum is willing to drive us to Penrith from the station, so unless Zx*** stops being a *** that seems to be the most likely venue at this point.

Also, unless someone has a problem with it, we'll be going Wednesday, since that seems to work best for the people who've said they're going.
