Hey, I posted in the thread for the upcoming tourney, too, but I thought I'd post here as well.
I'm from Nebraska (where there isn't much of a Smash scene, which is why I just made this account), but I'm going to be staying in New York for about a month. I don't know anyone here, so aside from the time I'm going to be in class I'm probably not going to have much going on. If anyone would be willing to let me hang and smash with them, that would be really cool. I don't have transportation, but I'm living in the Carlyle dorms near Union Square, so if you can give me a ride or detailed instructions on how to use the subway to get somewhere (I've never been to NY before now, nor used a subway :-O), then that would be cool.

List me for your carpool. I am 85% sure I can go to this with ya. Also, you should list if that price is for the whole trip, or per person. It's confusing lol.

@ RJ: that sounds good. Imma fix the details and you should make an aib account sometime. The site can be silly but its REALLY great for tracking tournies and getting new players into the scene.

I got A LOT of random locals to come to KTAR through aib.
