NJ/NY Rankings: New Rankings 9/25/12!!!

Edit: Inui, what's this about people needing to do EXTRA stuff to get ranked if they aren't established names? Come on now, that just sounds ridiculous. If Pwii's list was better than Keitaro's list, Pwii would be ranked above Keitaro. Same goes for me.

No, it's not like that. You should know what I mean. It's not something anyone ever thinks about or does on purpose, it's just how it is. Being an incumbent is always advantageous.

Kelvin, I checked all of those. At KTAR 3, he only beat Killacam. At my tournament, he beat nobody. At Viridian City, he beat Koro/HelpR/Zac. At Chu's, he only beat Boss. Dunno about Smurf's yet.

Edit: Just saw Smurf's tourney results are up, only win he has from there is Ryan/HTS.

This is the guy that was a part of making thee rule that if player A beats player b, no matter what happens, what characters are used, who sandbags, the win is 100 percent authentic and legit and then tried to make adhd not get a win on m2k because he "sandbagged", the guy who is 0 percent biased and 100 percent correct when it comes to rankings as shown today = Keitaro. Go to KTAR 4 guys!!!

About that, you keep assuming you know what I'm thinking and you haven't understood what I meant by the M2K ADHD situation.

Anybody can say they sandbagged anyone, are we gonna say "oh he sandbagged so it don't count"?? Of course not.

The deal with ADHD and M2K is that they decided to split money before the set even happened. My reasoning about splits is that players don't care about the set anymore since they are making the same money regardless. To the point it may be even more sandbagged than a friendly. People don't even watch tourney matches when they know players split since the players have almost nothing to strive for to win. This is why I didn't think that set should count.

Besides that, wtf is wrong with you man. You can NEVER have a decent arguement without trying to kill someone, its annnoying as ****. Even when you don't do it to me it bothers the hell outta me and many others that have told me. If you wanna discuss something, lets do it. But don't assume and attack before knowing anything at all. Its not smart and usually ****ed up, especially when you do it. For example, if you made this post you'd end it with this: "I never knew there were things in this world more flacid than my *****". Completely unneeded and rude.

I'll give you one thing though, we most likely didn't get all of Pwii's wins. This is a problem with the NJ panel. People tend to be lazy, including myself, at finding out all the facts for something. When with the PA panel we go through everything EXTREMELY thorough so when something's questioned we always have the answer for it. You were a pretty good panelist for searching stuff. When we did rankings this time, my internet was super f-ed up so I couldn't search for Pwii's wins. You can ask Inui himself, I kept saying imma find this, imma find that, and in the end could barely gather anything due to my internet f-ing. Also for some reason the chat wasn't working for me so Inui decided to im myself and Doom at the same time. I didn't like that cause I couldn't see Doom's opinions unless Inui brought it up.

And for the end, do you REALLY think UTD and Boss are better wins than Nakat, Smurf, Lie, Pwii, RJ, Ikon???? UTD is only ranked 4th in his state and I'm sure NJ > Texas. Its not like he beat Dojo, Gnes, or Razer. UTD is good, but barely better than Nakat, who beat UTD. Also I beat Pwii head to head. Imo case closed.

He actually is ranked 4th in Texas including recent results. The way Texas does their rankings, they update it after every tourney. Even after these tournies he may have won, he's still 4th on the list and not even in the same tier as the top 3. It was updated today actually and he's barely ahead of Trela by a couple points.

Still, one pretty awesome win and Boss isn't greater than multiples good wins as I believe even you agreed with in your most recent post regarding the Pwii vs Keitaro.

Yeah, I'd say that you're ahead due to having like, three times as many wins. Boss really shouldn't mean much if Shadow doesn't, which is perfectly reasonable, and one win on Zac shouldn't carry that much weight.

Phil: Honorable mention = people who barely missed it, were too inactive, or inactives that are still worth worrying about if they show up to a tourney (Kelvin, Spam, etc.)

You make a VERY valid point. But it does not matter. IF you're using the system we created, there's no way ADHD wouldn't get the win. It's automatically categorized into that and ADHD gets the full win. Want it to now change and not look defiant to your own rules? Change the rules.

Yes yes and yes. If you count Boss (you shouldnt, he hasnt done anything forever, only reason i brought him up before is because you brougth up dooms win on shadow) then that means you have to count lie and smurf. But if you actually use current accomplishments, then it would be UTD Zac vs Nakat . and Yes im sure UTD beat Gnes and Razer about a month or 2 ago. Inui knows about the tourney. Alot of people wnet and he destroyed eveyone. And aside from that consistently places well in tourney, save vc8, first bad for a while. Ikon never enters stuff and RJ does but rarely does something impressive ( i think most impressive is beating you twice or more, knwoing your lucario problem, lol) Ive stated all this in my previous posts already but at the same time I have no power. So you 3 panelists look at this debate over and decide. I feel I'm right as I pay tons of attention to the smash scene results across the country and know whos good and whos not so Im not speaking nonsense. Ive said what I had to say

Look at ADHD vs Atomsk right now. It's close as hell, and Atomsk put everything into it this season and really had a real shot, but ADHD being the incumbent was a huge part of how he kept his 1st rank. Atomsk could likely be 1st if we just started ranking people now.
