Okay guys, I seriously need someone to play with. I'm free at Friday for a bit after school (although you'd have to come to me), and I'm free on Saturday after like, 3. I'll have transportation on Saturday.

I know at least ONE of you is open during one of these days. Help me not suck at Inui's!

Who really cares about honorable mentions? If anything its an embarrassment and if your on it you should do whatever possible to get off and onto the actual PR. Actually nevermind, its really good inscentive for working real hard to get on the actual pr

@inui: LOL @ inactive players on honorable mention. I need to contact tant and tell him to get Azen on ours so all of the other players can feel like it means nothing

Since when was being on the same list as Azen something to feel bad about? If anything, he worked super hard to be worth remembering even so long after quitting.

Legend status is legend status.

Spam has achieved legend status in this region, doing what literally only one other person ranked in NJ has ever done, which is take top 3 at a national. His dominance during his active time also exceeded that of even ADHD's at our locals.

I agree with doom.

For both Azen AND spammer to have played this game for such a short period had made a huge impact that it's even remembered today.

Azen still regarded as one of the best Lucario's is just one of the many things he's done is his short brawl career.

True that.

The only person who could consistently beat Spam was M2K, besides that, Atomsk took random sets everyone once in a while. People shouldn't get too uptight about the honorary mentions list, but it would be nice to make it as best as possible.

What do you think about the Spam being on the HR list Doom?

No player that matters in this community thinks Azen is one of the best lucarios anymore. He's done, not coming back, etc.

Have I achieved legend status Inui?

said something about spam/m2k here but i read keits post wrong

and whatever happened to the honorable mentions list = a list of players who are inactive, barely missed the list, or can randomly show up to a tourney and turn heads/****?

I took more sets from Spam than Atomsk did. I beat Spam three times. I'm pretty sure Atomsk only did it once. Maybe twice, but I'm really sure it only happened once.

But yeah, his only consistent losses were to M2K, and he came very close each time. He beat all of NY every time during that period and was more dominant than ADHD ever was. The fact that we're still talking about him means something.

I played with him a few months ago and saw ghastly potential. Malcolm played him at Apex and said Spam was able to beat him after just a few games. That's impressive.

I said I think Spam should be on it. I think he certainly qualifies for being able to do a lot of damage if he showed up, especially since his style...pretty much doesn't require practice.

Yeah but if you're treating this like a season you should only have people who participated in that season on the list. what if espn had some rankings for this foot ball season and added retired players to an honorable mention list, LOL, how ridiculous. It's like an honorary degree from a college. You didn't earn it and it makes all of the people who earned their degrees hate the institution for giving you it.

Why the hell should Spam be HM? He hasn't done **** in forever, HM should be for people who just miss being on the list that season. Ridiculous.
agreed.
Been saying this since nj last rankings.
But I guess they have different opinions when it comes to honorable mentions.
I respect it though.

Thank God indeed. Maybe the unfortunate events that forced me to move in with my grandparents were part of His plan to help them. ;)
Yes, like typical christians, lets thank god and give him all of the credit instead of the individual. Thanks god. Inui? Wtf did he do lol?
If Nairo had ***** lips then yeah.
Haha agreed
Yeah Keitaro and Doom are really well established alright. At being inconsistent as hell. Back when Doom, me, Nairo, JG, and others got ranked, you didn't need much to get ranked. Now youre saying pwii needs MORE than utd zac and boss? ridiculous.

i hate that just because of what a player has done they get priviledge to something.

me shadow spam ryoko yes or any other unranked guys have NO priviledge to out shine newer or current players that do more than us at a current time. this is why i am NOT attending atlantic north tourneys anymore. im trying to start over, not show up to a tourney and end up being considered being a good win and seeded high as hell. not gonna have that.
How is Spam not honorable mentions? He'd beat the lower half of the list.

Ah, didn't know that about the TX rankings, my bad.

Yeah, I'd say that you're ahead due to having like, three times as many wins. Boss really shouldn't mean much if Shadow doesn't, which is perfectly reasonable, and one win on Zac shouldn't carry that much weight.

Phil: Honorable mention = people who barely missed it, were too inactive, or inactives that are still worth worrying about if they show up to a tourney (Kelvin, Spam, etc.)
Spam would beat the lower half of the list? That might be the dumbest thing I've heard. Shadow, who was better then Spam and hasn't been inactive nearly as long just he lost to Doom(number 9) and Jband(not even on the list) last weekend.

Spam would get destroyed.
Honorable mentions should be for people who participated in the season but didn't get ranked due to other people doing better, or them just missing the attendence requirement. I'll be ranked next season so I don't care either way
