doa4 isn't a fighter. It's garbage.it doesnt make sense though when strikers, which is on US servers, has no real noticeable lag. and for those of you saying its not a fighter, what about doa4? i play that online and the lag is NO where near as bad as brawl.
doa4 is in no way garbage lol. its not a very good competitive game IMO, but i like the game a lot. the story is interesting, the graphics have always been awesome, the game was a pioneer in online play for fighters, and i enjoy the cast of characters.doa4 isn't a fighter. It's garbage.
I could see how you got confused though! hahahaha
diem doesn't read WoTs. lololol I skimmed it, and I was just bustin your balls, chibo. ^_^doa4 is in no way garbage lol. its not a very good competitive game IMO, but i like the game a lot. the story is interesting, the graphics have always been awesome, the game was a pioneer in online play for fighters, and i enjoy the cast of characters.
besides smash its my favorite fighter especially from what it does to seperate itself from other games. it seems like most fighting games fall into a couple categories. there are fighters with characters with real martial arts type style that all sort of have a similar feel aesthetically (dont get me wrong tho, street fighter is cool), or the bunch of animated type fighters sort of like marvel vs capcom vs dbz vs anything. then the anime style like the countless amount of anime fighters, and guilty gear.
only a couple fighters really broke this mold, soul calibur and doa mainly. i really enjoyed soul calibur, but since they released sc3, i really couldnt get into it anymore.
i like a whole ton of fighters, but doa really sticks out for me (except smash but thats besides the point). some people really dislike the counter system, and while it may not work the best for competitive reasons, i like it for playing casually. it really gets ya thinking of how combos work and trying to predict certain moves to counter them and start your own. and the online modes are the best for any fighter. doa4s online is unlike any other online game with its presentation, and how they go about everything in genral.
and you do need a high level of precision as im pretty sure you only have 4 frames to perform a counter move. the fact that online really isnt bad just shows what smash and other games could be capable of.
I've had input delay against atomsk, ryoko, and rei. vs Atomsk it started in our second to last match and was like 1 1/2 second delay or something ridiculous like that. against ryoko, the frames skip a LOT. It took ~5 seconds between every two frames LOL. And Rei lives in MD, so I'm not that surprised if I get a bit of lag playing that distance. Everyone else I've played it feels the same as playing offline though most of the ppl I have played complain they get lag on their end.the huge problem is the input delay which iv always experienced.
the lag is that bad? wtf?Sensei lags too much.
I don't think I'll play him again online.
I ran into fully charged F-smashes from Ike and didn't shield.
****ing dumb.
I dont even own a wii, LMAO. but i can hook you up with one of my crew members who plays brawl online.camplem lord gets ***** by g&w.... ken34 u got wifi?? wana play??
