Depends on your idea of better.

It's a remake. Completely redone. Looks amazing and sounds great. But it brings nothing new to the table. At full price, it's really up to you whether you think the original is worth it.

What choice do you have unless you want to get last on 20% of your wifi races? The glitch is pretty much part of the track, everyone uses it.

MK7's rainbow road is such an amazing track.

Iirc there is a shortcut with a forgiving spawn(It doesn't save more than 2 or 3 seconds though) I'ma look into it today

I'm just sticking to playing with friends only on Mario Kart 7. Sadly that stage is all that gets played and I don't like that unless you do the glitch then you have a chance bit.

Cave Story is worth playing multiple times, but not buying multiple times. Get it once on Steam, WiiWare, DSiWare, or 3DS, and don't buy any more re-packagings once you've decided.

What ticks me off even more is that Nintendo doesn't want to fix this exploit, since it is "unfair" to those who have mastered this strat.

The automated reply was talking about updating the next batch of cartridges, not an actual patch. They couldn't do the former because that would be unfair. There is still a chance for a patch. I can't imagine that it would be that space-consuming to reconfigure that one respawn location.

This is just a rumor. I highly doubt it that a new 3DS is coming out anytime soon. Besides, just buy the Nyko battery pack if you want extended battery time.
