Pretty crazy games today! Who would have predicted that the Bills and the Lions would each be 3-0?

And of course I'm looking forward to Monday night! :D

Looks like the Bills and Lions are for real. Even though the Texans lost, they proved they can hang with the big boys. Tony Sparano's finally going to get fired, and the 49ers are 2-1. All in all, a good week.

This is awsome that the Lions won today. For one it's great to actually witness them win games after years of losing games. Detroit also came back from a 20-0 deficit on the road. That would have never happened in the past, in fact I can't even recall that ever happening during the Barry Sanders years, but I could be wrong.

It's great that this team has some fight in them. Last year the Lions showed spurts of coming back in games, but couldn't do it, such as in week 2 against Philadelphia and week 5 or 6 against Green Bay in Lambeau.

Lastly, it's Detroit's 1st win in the Metrodome since 1997. Now if the Lions can just win in Green Bay, which is something they have not done since 1992, it would be grand. Going to have to wait until week 17.

As for the Bills...amazing.

lots of exciting early games -- browns/fins bills/pats and vikes/lions were awesome. packers bears was such a boring game. i actually feel cheated by how bad the bears are.

I'm all for the Lions' epic rubberband momentum, but as a Packers fan I'm still going to have to give you a resounding "helllll no" on that.

Really surprised by the Bills comeback and Brady's poor performance. Go Bills!

And them 49ers winning in the ugliest ways possible. Good to see Crabtree back, and good to see Vernon break out.

My lungs hurt so much, this was the funniest thing I've read in a long time.

On another note, shoutouts to the Bills again because they put in work. Proud of my Bucs so far, and the Packers played a great game as usual. Clay Matthews had an awesome stop on a late handoff, really liking their defense this year.

And when did the Raiders pull it together?

@Omassa: I honestly have no idea what you're even saying in that post.

From what little I can gather -- Why Oakland and the Cowboys in particular? What makes that so epic to you?

@: And yeah, as always Packers D is lookin' foxy. What's great about them is that they (generally) know exactly how to do their coverage, giving them only the hairline of breathing room demanded by the rules. And once that ball is in the area, it's ****in' on. Matthews and Shields are absolute wizards at play disruption.

I, like a real fan, was wearing my Packers hoodie years before they were any good. And I was wearing it the night they won it all.

That's why we'll win. Your silly little bandwagon doesn't impress me, son. ;)

I thought the Raiders always had talent...just their offense always stunk minus their run game. Their defense was always good, especially when they had Nnamdi.

Kinda funny how the Eagles defense sucks so much. They shut down Roddy White last week, but got whipped by the Giants.

You just admitted to us you are a bandwagon fan...congrats. Are you going to hide in your hole when they lose a game?

I've never been so dissapointed by a 2-1 start before. I should be happy, but this just feels wrong. We're a bad team that just had a creampuff schedule for three weeks. **** gets real starting next week.

Da Raaaaiders are just a tough Buffalo comeback away from being 3-0. There's something with that team, but I wouldn't count on them too much.

Kenny Britt might be out for the season. Yikes.

And I know they've looked ugly, but they're in the same boat as the Raiders in San Francisco: 1 comeback away from being 3-0.
All that matters is wins and losses in this league, and they're both 2-1 teams. Something to hang your hat on at least.

Well, it's more than that, but I generalized obviously.

The Jags are a ground and pound team. More ball control in their system means less time for Newton to get 400. Aaaaand the Jags are still a decent enough team on defense, with their primary goal being containment. Hold the opponent from getting a big play because your offense can't match that. Combined stuff like that is why he threw for 200 yards and still had an impressive game.

In Week 1, his rookie nerves caused two interceptions. If he didn't do that, they'd have won that game too. The only TRUE 400 yard dominant game he had was against Green Bay, but they're too good for it to have mattered much.

The most important part of Cam Newton's game in the early season has been his ability to keep the Panthers competitive, no easy feat with that sub-par team.

Well, that's a given for any crap team with a good/high-potential player on it. Rather obvious.

I'd say the most important part of his game is the fact that he can default to becoming a rather talented RB when, for the umpteenth time, his corps can't beat the coverage and he has to slam through a solid line for a first down (and often more).

Welp the Cowboys came out a winner. I really didn't like their play very much but I suppose all that matters is that they won. The East looks like it could go to anybody. I hope the Cowboys come out of it though.
The Bucs finally look like they can make the playoffs. Their a good team and finally took Atlanta down. Now all they need to do if beat the Saints.

The Bills, Raiders, and the Lions all are great teams and are doing great. I still think that Packers>Lions and Patriots>Bills. The Raiders though will probably win their weak division.

Romo does have a tendency to have snap count problems. He got lucky tonight that he recovered a bad snap in the final two minutes against Washington.

Definately an interesting game tonight on Monday Night Football. 9 Field Goals were made total to set an NFL record.

It's funny that no one is criticizing this game for being downright ugly. I was watching the highlights of the 49ers and Cinci game on NFL.com and the commentators were like "Do we have to do this?" or "We're showing this highlight, because nothing else happened." When this game was probably uglier -_-.

I should start posting here more because I'm a big nfl guy.

My cap of week 2:

DA BILLLSSSS

Dream team falls from grace

Steelers showed they would of gotten wrecked if manning was playing *sigh*. Our running game got completely shut down, and in my eyes the colts defense beat our offense. Thankfully Troy made a clutch play to pull us out of a ****show :/

Wes Welker scores me 34 fantasy points.

DID I MENTION DAAAAAAAAAAAAAA BILLS?!
