@: And yeah, as always Packers D is lookin' foxy. What's great about them is that they (generally) know exactly how to do their coverage, giving them only the hairline of breathing room demanded by the rules. And once that ball is in the area, it's ****in' on. Matthews and Shields are absolute wizards at play disruption.
I know that feeling. It's good to have a respectable team for the first time in years.

I thought the Raiders always had talent...just their offense always stunk minus their run game. Their defense was always good, especially when they had Nnamdi.
Maybe it's just that the Raiders never really stood out to me. They just seem like an all around average team, I'm actually gonna make an effort to see how they do this time around.

Remember this from a few years back?

This was absolutely hilarious, looking back on it. Nice recovery on his part.

cam newton was human yesterday.he doesnt win when he throws for 400 but under 200 and he wins.wtf?
Did you see the rain or the field conditions? Nobody would have thrown for 400 in that.

Romo does have a tendency to have snap count problems. He got lucky tonight that he recovered a bad snap in the final two minutes against Washington.

Definately an interesting game tonight on Monday Night Football. 9 Field Goals were made total to set an NFL record.
That can't be blamed on Romo. They have a rookie center that made a lot of mistakes as well as a lot of young/hurt players. I'm surprised he didn't get to warm up the bench after the second time. At least he threw for positive yardage in one of those situations. It was quite incredible to say the least even if it was only 2 yards. 4 times was way too much...

On the topic of bad snaps, do you guys remember this?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZEXQ4Y7AAKk

And my Cowboys have got to stop winning or losing every game by 3 points or fewer lol. They popped that up on the screen that their last 9 games have been a margin of 3 points or less... They are going to give somebody a heart attack. Jason Garrett has some serious coaching to do this week, but I'm just glad they pulled off the win and are now tied for the top of the NFC East.

I say bench the center (Costa has no idea when to snap the ball) and teach the wideouts what's going on >.< Kevin Ogletree has been with the team long enough though to know better, and it's pretty sad he lines up on the wrong side then runs the wrong route and stops on the could have been touchdown play. Marty B should be off the team for lack of effort and penalties all the time as well as stupid things he consistently does.

Ogletree should know better, but the rest can be attributed to lack of a training camp due to lockout. Kosta is a second year player, not a rookie. He was doing well in preseason and training camp. With Andre Gurode coming off of knee surgery and demanding a big contract, they let him go (He is 33 anyways).

Phil almost "Kost-aus" a game.

And thanks for posting the same video I posted on the last page >_>.

Well I thought that the commentators had said that he was a rookie. Either way he hasn't been around long and he's not snapping the ball well.

It strikes me odd that an experienced commentator would say something like that, but I guess it makes sense when you make that kind of mistake. Your job is to get the ball to the quarterback, then defend him. Usually the first job is a lot easier.

I'm also disappointed in you, Smooth.

Fantasy players, I want some advice. I'm thinking about putting marshawn lynch and deion branch on the trade block, hopefully for better receivers, or for a better running back.

My league allows 1QB, 2 RBs, 2 WRS, 1RB/WR, 1 TE, 1 Defense/ST, 1 Kicker

My starting roster atm is:

Big ben QB
Mendenhall RB
Ahmad Bradshaw RB
Wes Welker WR
Deion Branch WR
Santonio holmes WR
Brandon Pettigrew TE
Bears Defense/ST
Josh brown K

My backup QB is mark sanchez, but I think itd be a good idea to hang onto him. Lynch is benched atm.

I thought Branch has been putting up good stats so far? Not sure if anyone will want Lynch cause Seattle's run game sucks period. You definitely need an upgrade at the RB position though. See if you can trade Lynch + Branch or Holmes for a low tier number 2 RB like Benson or even Frank Gore given how bad he's been playing.

Branch has been so-so. 2 decent games but got shut out this week. Welker on the other hand has been on fire. That also brings up another problem; since brady's targetting welker so much(I certainly dont mind), it means branch gets less catches.

I'd hold on to Sanchez.

I'm actually thinking about swapping him out with Ben on my fantasy team, tbh. I keep getting edged out in points by a few people in my league and it's always Ben that's been letting me down. Meanwhile, Sanchez is doing pretty damn good in comparison (and he probably would have won me those games I lost).

Ahmad Bradshaw, tho'...weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. I'm glad I picked him.

Ben and sanchez have both been putting up decent numbers in my fantasy league. Ben's put up mid 30s and Sanchez low 50s, but I still feel ben has the edge, especially next week since he's facing houston while sanchez is facing the ravens. Ben should tear up houston's defense with wallace, ward, and brown. I may start sanchez when he faces the patriots though. for the first time in long time I see a weakness with the patriots: their pass D. Jets patriots will probably be a shootout sanchez will lose, but will still put up good fantasy numbers.

I actually drafted ben a lot earlier than sanchez(got sanchez like 7th round, crazy draft steal).

Oooooo.

Yeah, I may just keep Ben in there since they'll be at Houston.

That Ravens game is going to be absolute murder.

;_; Thanks for the heads-up, M@V.

Lol, I drafted Big Ben in the 8th round...that's cause everyone else had a QB. Unfortunately, he hasn't lived up to my expectations given what he did last year after his suspension. Sucks even more that in one of my leagues, I had Jamaal Charles.

And didn't the Pats proceed to lose against the Jets the following week? >_>

And honestly, I like Welker and all, but I thought that was pretty classless.

Haha it just seems like harmless teasing to me.

I'm sure if Rex saw it, he would laugh. Well I'm not "sure", but. Well. You know what I mean.

By the way, I feel like....if you aren't absolutely disgusted by feet, people will label it a foot fetish. Dumb -_-

I dunno...he might laugh, but I'm sure on the inside he'd be thinking "Welker, you're a effin ****."

It was a personal matter to Rex, and it's unfortunate it leaked out. Of all the things to trash talk about, personal matters is probably one of the worst =/.

Not sure how society views that in comparison to homophobic slurs, but I personally find it to be a low blow.

Well, with how terrible he managed to play, I don't think any casual viewer watching would think he had been in the league for more than a couple games lol. Usually people with a lot of commentary experience do better than that, but everyone is human.

Anyway, on the topic of Fantasy, here's my team

QB Cam Newton
RB James Starks, Brandon Jacobs
WR Steve Smith, Dez Bryant
TE Jason Witten
W/R Donald Driver

K Sebastian Janikowski
Ravens D

I also have Darren Sproles as a backup RB. Anyway, my team didn't do so hot my first week, so I'm trying to figure out who I should try to get rid of. Any suggestions?

Basically, sometime earlier in the season, it came out in video that Rex Ryan has some foot fetish with his wife...and naturally people started making jokes about it.

How many teams in your league? That's a ****ty team lol.

RB James Starks
Yeah! :b:

Sucks to watch him get shut down by the Bears D like that, though. I'm curious what led you to take him on though. As amazing as Starks was last year most people were expecting him to play second fiddle to Grant (some didn't even think he'd make it off the bench tho I thought that was preposterous). And I mean, Grant is still really good. So as great as Starks is he's going to be sharing his touches. Points that could or would go to Starks for sure if he was the only RB might end up with Grant instead, and stuff.

I've actually been meaning to ask that for a while, as far as people with fantasy teams picking a RB from a team with multiple good RBs.

I don't think Grant is playing this week due to a kidney bruise. Starks should get more touches.

Generally, the format my fantasy leagues do is...

QB
RB
RB
WR
WR
WR
TE
K
D

It makes it so much tougher to make the right roster decisions/sleeper impacts compared to a league where you only need two WR. I'm in another league where it's QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE, WR/RB, K, D...and it's so much easier.

Rex Ryan, the jets head coach, has a foot fetish. So the joke I said when the jets lost was "They obviously didn't put their best foot forward."

Dallas is looking good right now against Detroit. The Cowboys D-line is dominating and their offense is constantly converting on 3rd downs.

I've watched every game so far this is gonna suck

Can somebody be a bro and write me a highlight reel post to read when I get home? Only if you were already gonna watch the game that is. Thanks in advance :b:

Go Jets!

This is gonna be a difficult battle for them . . .

And then next week isn't going to be much fairer.
