I don’t hate Rex

I actually like XC2

I am merely, albeit in a slightly roundabout way, telling you guys to temper your expectations. It would seem some of you are a bit too confident in his chances, and I wouldn’t want you guys to set your hopes so high that your disappointment becomes immeasurable if he doesn’t make it. I mean, I don’t set my hopes for Elma super high, not anymore at least. I just say I want her and if she’s in, she’s in, and if she’s not, she’s not.

also to a certain user I’ve ignored, I clicked show ignored content anyway and that personal attack was uncalled for.

About my previous reply to Plant. First off I don't released that it's an insult so my apologies for not saying this sooner, and second I just told him that these cycle of insult to hate to blindly deconfirm a character is something that you got to realized when you support a character that has been heavily discussed and requested, I mean I don't see a lot of people fake deconfirming Gordon Freeman than someone like Sora. So advising people to stop blindly deconfirm your character and at the same time taunting other most wanted is such a douchebag.

Out of context, this summarizes just about everyone here seeing as how people keep jumping at shadows to prove/disprove a character getting in.

EDIT: Two more weeks at most; that's about what we've got to wait before we can be confident in a reveal or teaser being really close.

For me? Yeah, being a Reimu supporter is kinda chill but I have to expect everyone to argue about her being niche worldwide which i could do all day

The 2010's current fighters are the least amount of the decades in Smash, with 14. The second smallest amount is 16 with the 2000's.

This got me thinking - when will we see the first 2020's character in Smash? What series could feasibly have that character? The only candidates I can think of are Ichiban from the new Yakuza game, or maybe an Age of Calamity character (would the new Impa count? idk).

Maybe it's too early to tell, but I'm curious what series people think might get the first Smash character of the new decade.

I'm not even sure what characters Call of Duty has. (I've only played a bit of Modern Warfare 2, and I stopped at the mission in Rio de Janeiro)

I don't play many first person shooters, and even then, I can think of at least half a dozen different examples from first person shooters alone that I'd prefer. (Doomguy, Master Chief, Chell if Portal counts, William Joseph Blazkowicz, the Heavy (or any of the TF2 cast), Gordon Freeman, Tracer... Heck, I'd even take Duke Nukem over a Call of Duty character)

The Signature Character I would say is Captain Price, the Main Protag of the Modern Warfare Games, Considered the best Era of Call of duty (or Black Ops)

I think the reason people assumes this and are confident in his chances are due to ARMS having been considered for Base, the same with Rex.

Plus his Mii costume being exclusive to the 1st Pass and Pass 2 not having been planned and intended at that point.

While I wouldn't say he's a lock, I certainly think he's one of the more likely characters to get in as much as I want Elma more.

Speaking of which, here's another question for this board, if you had to choose between Target Blast (Angry Birds Mode), or the regular Target Smash from the first three games to bring back as DLC for Ultimate, which would you pick?

Actually let's up it a notch and throw in Board the Platforms as well for a ranking match.

My priority would be:

1. Target Smash
2. Board the Platforms
3. Target Blast
